I hired this guy to represent me a while ago. He didn't show up for our first meeting which cost me a day of work and that should have told me all I needed to know about him but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. 8 different times I showed up for my court date. Two of those times,he never showed up and I had to embarrassingly had to explain to the judge that he wasn't there. The other six times he did show up, he walked right up to the judge and asked for a continuation without consulting me first. I missed work all 8 days for nothing. I kept my faith in him because he swore that he would get the charges dropped for lack of evidence and illegal search and seizure. So the final court date arrives, he's telling me outside that it's getting thrown out and I have nothing to worry about. We go up in front of the judge and then this idiot just immediately asks for 2 years probation. Wtf?? This whole debacle cost me several thousand dollars for a lawyer that must have bought his license in an alleyway. Just go with a public defender,at least you already know they're going to screw you over and it costs a lot less.

This attorney took $5,000 delayed my court appearance until he received it in full and then barely spoke at my court hearing. I wish I knew then what I know now. The ver reason attorneys have a bad name.
