Leaving this review on behalf of my elderly mother. she loved the doctor but his staff leaves much to be desired. One girl in particular was rude, short and blunt. the office manager was agreeable with my mother and agreed that the staff member could be short at times. after that the staff member still continued to act that way so my mother left the practice. Staff at the new office she chose knew exactly why she left! they had heard so word is getting around. I work in a doctor office myself and what she would tell me of how things were handled was ridiculous especially with refills. Hopefully Dr. Brown will realize he needs better staff.

Love, love, love Dr. Brown! He is very thorough! However, some of the staff have A Lot to be desired. When one of the gals was at check out, she made sure that I received a copy of the referrals, and the referral was faxed to the CORRECT place. Now that she has moved on to nursing, which is good for her, the gals in referrals, fax to the wrong place ALL the time, even though it clearly states in my file where it is to go. It is very frustrating! Do they even know what they are doing??? This has happened several times to me! I did not receive a copy of the referral this time because if I did, I would have taken care of it myself. Hopefully they will hire another gal for checkout that knows what she is doing, because the referral department, has no clue!!!!

Today was my first visit I came in needing help and I received the best advice and left feeling like this is going to be a start of a great patient doctor relationship. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and that alone deserves five stars thank you Dr Brown

Office staff called late on a Friday to tell me I needed a diagnostic mammogram! No results, no why, no MD available. I complained and was discharged as his patient due to “NONCOMPLIANCE” Are you kidding me?

This doctor does NOT care about patients! You are simply a number! He has WAY too many patients and can't help ones in immediate need. Yes you can be a walk in however when you are sick or in need of help waiting TWELVE hours to be seen is NOT what any patient needs! My mother has called twice begging to be seen or helped and for 2 days now we have gotten zero response! SHAME ON YOU DR. BROWN!!! So much for your hippocratic oath!

Dr. Brown is amazing! He provides great preventive maintenance, correct treatment for your needs and never rushes you about discussing any concerns you may have. Takes the time to answer all your questions. The staff is very pleasant and I would highly recommend Dr. Brown and Jena Medical for any medical needs you may have.

Dr. Brown is an excellent physician and has a great bedside manner. Very patient and thorough with his consultations.

Most disrespectful doctor I’ve ever had. Well never had. Waited an hour to be told it’d take another 15-30 min. He obviously doesn’t care about his clients time as another one of his patients said he always waits. Shouldn’t give him any of your time or money.

Dr. Brown seems like a good family practice Dr. but his staff is a mess. He is clearly overworked and his office staff acts like they could care less. His record keeping system does not connect to anything so on my first appointment, all he did was key in my medical history. The only vitals that were taken of me was my blood pressure and it was not even close to being correct. I was shuttled between three different exam rooms, each which was overloaded with old magazines and journals. Dr. Brown wanted to see me back within a month, but his schedule did not allow it. His office staff told me they would try to put me on a cancellation list, but never contacted me back. Dr. Brown, may be a very good doctor and he really seems to care, but with his terrible office staff and systems, you will never get any help from them if you need them when you get sick.
