List of Jay Guido's Reviews
Dr. Guido seems to be very knowledgeable in his field. He keeps a close eye on my PSA Levels and cancer risk. Performs all test as needed. But on my last visit I was very disappointed. Dr. Guido walked in the room without a face mask. Also the woman who took me did not have a face mask on! Totally unacceptable since we are still in a COVID pandemic. They are putting patients at risk for COVID 19! To me this was unprofessional!
This was my first experience and was it was positive. The staff was professional and courteous. Dr. Guido is a good communicator and seems to welcome me as a new patient. I am having the typical challenges of getting my out of state records transferred from my previous urologist but that is the system as it is today.
Our son had an issue with urinary retention and he had a procedure at this clinic... An absolute nightmare! He went in completely healthy and came out with a terrible cough and two hours later had to be hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia which they said that he got while he was under anesthesia at this clinic...He had a terrible cough when they wheeled him out but they told us it was normal...Nobody obviously noticed that he aspirated during the procedure... He was in the hospital for several days and the doctor never talked to him before the procedure or after the procedure... He never called to check on him and he would never call us back after repeated phone calls... we have still yet to talk to him By the way, the procedure did not work and his condition is worse than ever... He is 21 years old and we are definitely scheduled to see a different urologist... I cannot recommend this doctor in good conscience... He did not exhibit any competence, care, or concern with our son.
I found the practice efficient , friendly and timely. I felt Dr Guido make a good assessment of my condition and answered my questions. I recommend this practice.
I was just refused a procedure I was needing done because of my inability to pay my percentage of the bill that Medicare won't pay and was told to reschedule when I could pay at Florida Urology at 300 Clyde Morris Blvd in Ormond Beach. This is Medical Neglect and will be treated as such!!!!
My Mother was just refused a procedure she was needing done because of her inability to pay her percentage of the bill that Medicare won't pay and was told to reschedule when she could pay at Florida Urology at 300 Clyde Morris Blvd in Ormond Beach. This is Medical Neglect and will be treated as such!!!!
I have seen Dr. Guido several times and had procedures. Never had a bad experience. Kind, caring and professional.
Dr. Guido's demeanor, professionalism, experience, and knowledge are all a patient could ask for, and his staff are equally outstanding. I consider myself very fortunate to have him for my urologist.
D. Christian Guido might be ok. Simply they, the staff books to many people per day to effectively treat you. like a human being. there is room for disaster in that office. The Palm Coast office is even worst. It is essentially a secondary office, just to get more patients from Palm Coast to go to Ormond Beach office. The receptionist up front in P/C is too busy talking on the phone, then to help patients.
Excellent doctor, great person. Could not get any better care !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
