We were on vacation2017, and my husband had heart problems and needed surgery immediately. Dr Holt was his surgeon, we knew nothing about him, but I truly believe that God choose Dr Holt for us. My husband had a triple bypass Oct 31 st 2017 preformed by Dr Holt who was absolutely wonderful, not only as a surgeon, but in caring and manner . It was a scary situation, being in a stranger to the area and not knowing anyone, but Dr Holt and staff at Advent Hospital were outstanding. We shall always be so grateful for saving my husbands life.

Dr. Holt did my CABG5, yes 5! June 3, 2021. Everything went fine the day of the surgery. He took care of me through Cardiac ICU. There have been no complications regarding the bypass. He prefers to use staples to button up the incision on your leg(s) and sternum. I have learned that this is his preference and regarding the legs it has to do with his method of vein harvesting. I had approximately 70 staples from my ankle to my groin to close the harvesting incision on my right leg. Approximately 30 to close my sternum incision. Well, the staple tracks once removed took forever to heal and here I am 11 weeks out and they are continue to be tender. The sternum incision continues to be a problem while it heals. I tried over 15 ointments etc. to quiet down the sternum incision while it heals. Nothing worked. Many sleepless nights!

Dr. Holt performed quadruple bypass surgery on me and he is meticulous and a perfectionist. The incisions are matched so perfectly tht there is little scarring on the outside.

Had CABG x4 in January. Dr Holt was exceptional in his communication, professionalism and care. I could not have asked more of him as he stopped in often to check on me and genuinely cared about me. I thank him and I highly recommend him.

I had triple bypass surgery on July 2. Dr. Holt was wonderful. He spent time with me explaining the procedure and while I was in the ICU, Dr. Holt was caring and professional. We would definitely recommend him. Thank you, Dr. Holt. The ICU nurses were great, although I pestered the Drs. to let me out early.
