I Consulted with Dr. Rubin day after he and his partner performed cataract surgery and lens install on my right eye. I stated vision was poor. 2 weeks later at follow-up consult I stated same poor vision. Dr. Rubin stated "In 6 months we can do the left eye and it'll be fine" Sure, lets goof up both eyes. I went for a second opinion from 2 other opthalmologists and was told Dr Rubin's work was not to standards.

If your getting to an age where you need glasses to pass the flight physical , he conveniently offers ophthalmology and provides glasses, right there in the same office, right after your failed eye exam,,, perfect! For about 650.00 you will have the glasses you need to pass… go to spruce creek and save yourself from the railroad. The free pair isn’t free. Granted You can take your new prescription anywhere you like, but need them or not you will get to carry them from then until your next physical/ eye exam.

Dr Rubin agreed to see me last minute for an eye issue. His office staff were very friendly and efficient. He was direct and effective in his assessment. He prescribed a less invasive course of action to be cautious and I recommend him to any patient in need of an eye doctor!

I had cataract surgery on my right eye. I came out with just as poor vision as prior to surgery. Dr. Rubin said"we can do the left eye cataract in a few months and you'll see better" I spent over $2200 on one bad eye, I'm not going back for another.
