I can’t believe how patient Dr Makowski was with me. He answered every question I could come up with and addressed ever concern I had. I had a lot. The plan we can up with together perfectly fit my needs and my vision has never been better. His bedside manner and professionalism before and during surgery went a Love way in easing my mind. I also can’t say enough about the surgical staff at the Tomoka Surgery Center. I felt so well taken care of and pampered Thank you Dr Makowski

I was a walk in having floaters in my eye. His staff asked if he could squeeze me in. He did and I'm really grateful he did. I had a retinal tear, he did laser surgery to keep it from getting worse. At my one week follow up it was a good thing he did as he could see that it had tried to tear more, but the surgery had prevented that. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Makowski and his staff, they were all great. I'm so glad he was there the day I walked in. Highly recommend him!

Dr M always has a smile on his face. He is friendly, compassionate, thorough and known by his staff as being a perfectionist. He listens to you, answers your questions and does not rush you out of the office. He has performed 3 surgeries on me with one more to go. He calls you in the evening after the surgery to see how you are feeling and if there are problems.He is the best!
