I would not recommend this md. He is very aloof and condescending. The way he chit chats with his staff reminds you of high school students. I felt unwelcome in his office

I went in for an eye exam at the request of my neurologist for migraines. I was not in need of a new prescription. The wait time was 50 minutes before being seen and the waiting room was packed. Once in the exam room it went quickly. I read the chart on the wall without struggle and the tech said that I was reading at 20/20. No new script was needed and I never received a refraction. History – I had purchased my sunglasses at Tomoka over a year ago and prior to that I purchased eyeglasses from another provider. A couple months after my visit I got a bill for refraction of $40. I called them and let them know I did not have a refraction. After much back-and-forth they are telling me that I am responsible for the $40 for the refraction which I never had. You know I can afford the $40 but I don’t like being billed for something I did not get. This is not a very professional business practice nor recordkeeping. I was told they are having difficulty with two computer software programs.

Dr Myer just did surgery on my OTHER eye and once again, the surgery was successful even though I had a very complicated ophthalmic condition that most doctors believed would not result in a good outcome. My vision is excellent and Dr Myer was awesome. Highest Recommendation! Thank you! :-)

Dr Myer is an excellent surgeon, compassionate and very personable! He is a cornea and dry eye specialist and has turned around my dry eye symptoms with my Lipiflow treatment and dry eye regimen. I have referred several friends to Dr Myer and they are all very happy with his care and the entire staff at Tomoka Eye Associates.

I am very impressed with his knowledge, skill, and demeanor and I recommend him most highly. He is an excellent surgeon and when I need surgery again, I trust him to help me with the other eye.

I have had eye problems for many years and I've seen ophthalmologists all over the country. Dr Myer has been taking care of me for complex eye issues and I am impressed with his knowledge and skill. He performed surgery on me and returned my vision. He is also a very personable and friendly man with a compassionate nature. I recommend him most highly. Sometimes the office is quite busy since they have so many patients wishing to see the the doctors so sometimes there is a wait but it's worth it.
