Dr Root saw me for an emergency visit during he covid shutdown. He provided a very thorough exam,explained the situation,and was so patient. He repeated several times to come back in the following week if I did not improve. As nervous as I was re about the appointment,it was a very satisfactory experience. Thank you Dr Root!

Dr. Root is nice to you only if you are going to have some major procedure. I spent 2 hours waiting for him. Finally, when he came, he just spent 5 minutes with me, did not answer any of my questions.

Tomoka Eye Associates is a favorite. They provide excellent service, have excellent doctors and an impressive support staff. The Associates have their own eye surgery facility, attached to their offices, and everyone I know who has used the facility has been both pleased and impressed. We particularly recommend Dr. Spertus. He operated on my wife's eyes, with excellent results.
