List of V Dsouza's Reviews
I strongly would NOT recommend this physician. I personally had a horrible experience with him. He's unprofessional and extremely rude. He isn't compassionate or understanding. My advice, look elsewhere there's better Physicians out there.
I was a nurse for 33yrs. in Ct. and am extremely discriminate about the physicians that I allow to guide me. I enjoy his staff they are an easy group, friendly and experienced. I. trust him implicitly!
My mom has been seeing doctor D'Souza for several years & each time we come we are always forced to wait til everyone in the waiting room to go first including the walk ins just for being literally 5 mins late when they even tho we had an appt. They even have a sign in there window stating "all patients will be called by their appointment times not by arrival times." This contradict what the staff member said to the other regarding making my mother & I wait until everyone else with appts after us go before us waiting an extra 2 hours. The staffing is horrible with over scheduling for an older doctor & is very rude to the patients.
Dr. D’Souza was very kind on our first visit and has a wonderful disposition. Unfortunately he ordered a few test be done and a follow up but after 6 weeks I still have not received one phone call from his office. I have called and no one answered the phone. I really like him though. His office is just extremely busy and maybe a little understaffed.
I have COPD and Dr.Souza is my doctor I am 82 years old And get infections in my lungs occasionally ! No most of the time when I called the office they have me come in or call in a prescription for me,! So now with this virus going around I have decided tu lock myself in the house since I am 82 years old which makes me a perfect candidate for the virus , So at this point I am congested but no fever ! So I called the office to see what I should take, I spoke to the nurse and she told me she would have the doctor call me! Of course no call back after sitting by the phone all day! This is the second time it happen to me! So at this point I guess I’m scared and just try and double up on my Mucinex and hope for the best
Just recently started with Dr. D’Souza. I found him to be very competent, professional and passionate. His office is quite busy however, I’d very concerned if it wasn’t. His office assistant- Alexis was perhaps one of the best I’ve ever seen. She was well versed on treatment plans, insurance and even procedures for handling VA patients. During my particular visit, she kept everything moving which allowed the doctor to spend more time with his patients.
Great staff and good Dr. Unfortunately they are overbooked everytime I have been there. First time I waited over an hour for my turn. This time it was 45 min and I was stuck in a room with 80 sick people coughing. I left. If you have no other plans and enjoy sitting in a room with sick people this slow moving, overbooked practice is for you.
Best Pulmonologist in Daytona Beach Area. Dr. D'Souza is, compassionate and cares well as a healer to his patients. Michelle, his assistant is as kind and compassionate, as Dr. D'Souza! Devoted caregives with integrity and valuable knowledge, of Lung matters. Saved my life!
Wait over an hour for every visit...ridiculous. My appt. is for 1:15 pm...it is now 2: 03 pm. I was scheduled for that time, and come to find out he doesn't even return daily until 1:30pm. Why on earth do you schedule a time when the doctor is not even in the office. Ineptness in scheduling at the very least.
Very rude and unconcerned with my condition. Literally said, "What do you want me to do? If you're that sick, you should go to the ER."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
