I saw Dr. Becker 5 times within a 6 month period with complaints of severe neck and back pain. I was referred to him by one of his own partners. Dr. Gerald Becker did absolutely nothing for me. He kept saying that I "was not a surgical candidate". As a result of his lack of care I sought treatment in Boston. I required both neck and back surgery. I have had both surgeries and am significantly better. I wish I had not wasted any time going to Dr. Becker. My experience with him was terrible and do not recommend him at all. I am also questioning the validity of several of the last reviews of Dr. Becker. They sound as though they were written by the same person.

Dr Becker is the greatest I had my spinal fusion in 1986 and I couldn't be happier. Lived my life like it never happen. Never had any problems. Best bedside manner can't recommend enough!!!!

Dr. Becker performed a back fusion that changed my life. He is the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever met and I am very sorry to hear he has retired. No one is perfect but he is as close to perfect as they come!! Enjoy the next chapter, Doc!!! You deserve it!

Dr. Becker has performed a spinal fusion on my sister, my husband and a family friend. ALL with amazing results. He is professional, courteous and will spend the time to make sure that you are comfortable with the procedure and that you fully understand what you are undertaking. He was great with follow up questions and getting back to us with answers. We would highly recommend him

I have NEVER dealt with such a poor doctor. Did my fusion 4 YRS ago and I am in more pain then I was before my surgery. REFUSES to listen to my needs, condition or pain. No bedside manner and in such a rush to get me out of the exam room. Also, he did my Fiancee's father's surgery, and messed up his spine as well. Other people i have talked to since my surgery (strangers) whom also went to him for surgery has said the same as myself. WOULD NEVER refer him to ANYONE!!

The worst doctor that every existed! My spine surgery with him was 8 years ago and everyday I am haunted with excruciating pain, which is much much much worse than before surgery. His methods and techniques are terrible and this surgeon choice has ruined my quality of life.
