List of Carespot Urgent Care Of Oviedo's Reviews
Everyone was very nice and professional except the front desk lady.
Awful front desk ..service,except for Serena the only professional and caring employee there.. otherwise they are very inconsistent unprofessional doctor today especially on September 12, 2021 gray haired female doctor don’t know her name my adult daughter saw her and she was extremely rude and uncaring individual . My daughter paid $90 for a physical and made an appointment online to get a TB skin test reading three days later and then the facility they referred her to that was open on Saturday was closed… she wasn’t sure what to do so she went there today and they basically they disrespected her and treated her like a criminal they even called the police on her because she wouldn’t leave she stood up for herself by telling the Doctor she wanted another TB skin test and she would come back to get it read in three days.. but obviously she will go to Winter Springs Care Spot and this is the last time we deal with Orlando Health.. Advent health has always been far superior than Orlando Health always knew that but this was just a convenience factor for my daughter and she has learned her lesson to always choose Advent Health for any future healthcare needs.. if I get the name of the doctor I’ll be sure to post the name for everyone to avoid
Just another set of employees who do not care. Doctor was nice, service was less than 5 minutes. 3.5 hours of waiting and a rude office staff because they said my "appointment was confusing"Upon finishing with my appointment, the nurse walked in, shoved my paperwork at me and said have a good day and walked out.I was treated worse because of a mistake they made. They won't admit their mistakes and they will try and blame them on other things. In the end these employees do not care and management should look into how customers are treated when a problem arises."Have a good day"?
Went for a covid test so that I could finally see my mother who is not going to make it much longer. Called this place and was told that I should make an appointment and it would be $140. I made the appointment and sat in my car forever. Then they did the test and said I had to be seen by a doctor. I asked if it was still $140 and was told yes. I just got the bill and they charged me $243, and that person who came in for 20 seconds was not a doctor. This has made a sad experience really upsetting. I contacted them and they don't seem to want to do anything. How can people want to work at this place Knowing what they are doing during covid. I know this has happened to other people and it really is fraud. I wonder if it can be reported to someone for taking advantage of people during covid.
After waiting in the parking lot for two hours, only then did someone call to ask me about my symptoms, and I was immediately told that I would have to go elsewhere for care. I really wish I wouldn't have wasted two hours of my life being scared out of my mind about my health because no one thought to ask me about my symptoms when I checked in.
Everyone from the front door to the Doctors in the back are so friendly and compassionate.
With all of the negative reviews, it must be more busy than when I went last year for COVID test. Positive. If positive, you don’t have to pay for test. Then, I was so sick after, I did call to see if they would see me because my PCP would not see you if you had COVID. The entry into place was great protocol. Use their mask with yours, sanitize hands. Maybe 2 people in waiting room because many wait in car. The doctor was great. Basically, upper respiratory infection and helped me through COVID. Any doctor’s office now, clinic, or urgent care seem extremely busy now. I am between PCP’s, and will consider them again. All doctor’s and specialists have Evaluation and Management timeframes according to medical coding. 15 minutes seems to be what they shoot for. So, I will use them imbetween doctors.
Worst experience ever for a urgent care center! I had a appointment, of course you have to wait in car.... After about 1 hour, I called inside. They said it was 1-2 ppl in front of me. Ok, I was patient .... 2 hours passed, called again and they said I was up next. Now going on 3 hours sitting in my car outside I called again to get a very rude lady on the phone. I explained to her I had a appointment and now it's been 3 hours of waiting. She rudely said there was a emergency. So I guess they just expect everyone to wait for hours on end with no communication. If there was a emergency, I can see if there was a ambulance that came or something but nothing. Of course they were quick to take payment before having me wait in my car! The lack of communication and rude service by front desk was really turn off! I went in and told them once again I've been waiting and I was leaving and I wanted a refund! I will watch my account but won't be surprised if I see the charge. This was the second time I've been there, first time wasn't the greatest either. I should have read all the other reviews first and that would have told me to go somewhere else.
I spoke to a young lady over the phone who's name is Irma, she was very polite and informative. I had recently visited another clinic in which I was not given any choices nor recommendations on my situation, pretty much I was just turned away. When speaking to Irma over the phone she was polite patient and empathetic of my situation and even though they couldn't personally help me, she did give me other options and explained the reason why they couldn't attend to me at that specific moment. Irma is great at what she does.
DO yourself a favor. do not go there, unless you need an x-ray may be!! go to paramount, go to first choice. I'm vaccinated, wear a mask and WFH but because I had a dry cough I went there to get checked and tested, because my kids go to school(they don't have any symptoms). I do not want to spread it. The first thing i was told by the receptionist is "I don't know why your PCPs keep sending you here, we don't even have a doctor, only a nurse, your PCP is not treating you fair". OK I didn't ask for any opinion. the only person who was good was the nurse who took my vitals. The PA who checked me she was nice person, but really didn't even check me for 10 seconds. she mentioned she needs to "pseudo" do that to send out the test, and in 30 seconds already opened the door and was on her way out. I had to stop her asking do you think everything OK? she said "oh everyone is coughing, do Dayquil/Nyquil, it might stay for 3 months" me asking can you prescribe or tell me what med to take? she is " if you want I will send something cough syrup steroid" I have no idea what she sent out. she was already out. First choice/Paramount treated me before and treated my husband recently. way better. I shouldn't have listened to the OH scheduling and landed on the care-spot. wasted my 2 hours and $40 co-pay. I have special feeling and respect for healthcare workers, which tremendously increased after how everyone went through covid and helped a nation. but still you can not skip on these basic things, i'm not getting free service, I paid for and I think deserve the basics.Read the below review of kathleen halloran!! yes!! 5-10 seconds sound about right. I wish I read her reviews before going there

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
