If you’re looking for a doctor with apathy, she’s perfect for you! Wife had to have an emergency C-section after 3+ hours of pushing. She coined it as the most difficult C-section she’s ever done. Not what you want to hear as a first time dad. I was hysterical. All I wanted was an apology for her miscalculation of the baby’s head and my wife’s pelvic bone. Crickets. She brings up the difficulty of the C-section during every interaction we have her… I feel like she’s gloating about it at this point. We just want to move on from it. Makes us worried about having kids in the future if I’m being honest.

Very professional, kind, knowledgeable, explained things well, and could easily talk with her.

I am new to the area and needed a gynecologist. I am extremely glad I chose Dr. Rothen. She is absolutely wonderful, professional, knowledgeable. I will be recommending Dr. Rothen to anyone looking for a gynecologist.

Dr. Rothen is wonderful. Listens and always helps in making you feel comfortable.

Friendly, but not necessarily competent. She quickly dismissed and overlooked a major issue that was diagnosed by the very next obgyn I visited. Used the biggest speculum! Left me sore for days. Lastly, Be sure to read the fine print concerning malpractice suits for this office as you'll have plenty of time during the hour wait in the lobby!

I've never experienced a doctor with such care, patience and understanding. She took the time to listen to my concerns and didn't rush through the appointment like other doctors have. I would give her more stars if I could!

I saw this dr. for my annual. At the time I mentioned some symptoms I had been having. Her response was to put me on the pill as it would make things "a lot better". Fast forward a few months and things haven't improved. My primary doc referred me to an obgyn that almost immediately recognized the problem. If you're looking for a dr. that is both patronizing and dismissive of your concerns, Dr. Rothen is perfect for you!

Today I was full of questions and she answered each and every one with care and confidence. I had my first pelvic exam and she made me feel very comfortable and was telling me I was doing great, even though all I had to do was keep my legs open! haha She is very a very kind woman with great interpersonal skills. I am glad I chose her as my OBGYN!

I left my long-time OBGYN after my ectopic pregnancy last year. I wanted a fresh start with a new doctor and a friend recommended Dr. Rothen. I felt like I was meeting an old friend at my first appointment. She is warm, friendly, and really knows her stuff! She has treated me for a recurring yeast infection and was so kind every time I came back in and finally helped me get well again through different treatment plans. I am now 4 months pregnant and have continued to see her for my prenatal care. I am really hopeful that she will be able to deliver my baby! There is no one I trust like her.

Dr. Rothen was covering for my gyn in the same practice when I came in for a problem with an itchy breast. I really liked her for these reasons: I felt comfortable with her from the start, she was warm and friendly, listened to my symptoms and gave me a thorough examination. Even though she didn't see anything, she was knowledgeable about inflammatory breast cancer and to rule it out, she ordered the necessary tests. Dr. Rothen is an exceptional doctor and I would highly recommend her.
