Dr. Figueroa is very helpful and knowledgeable about more things in the medical field than just psychiatric. Which in my opinion is why he is so successful. He understands the whole body not just the mind. I enjoy and look forward to my visits with him.

I have to say that I actually enjoy my sessions with Dr. Figueroa. I've seen other Psychiatrists before, and he is the most caring and understanding doctor. I drive 2 hours each way to see him because he is worth it. I love his office atmosphere as well. Its very clean and relaxing. His office staff are always friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Mind Hope.

I read previous reviews of the Doc, don't understand them. Doc was awesome, he took time to ask a lot of questions and really listen to my answers. I am very appreciative Dr Figueroa and very happy he is helping my with my needs. Also his staff are very nice and caring

Actually a zero rating but it was not available. “Dr.” Figueroa – I can’t imagine who gave him a license failed to report rape allegations, failed to call medical help to perform an examination, failed to help the victim in any way, in fact he went on vacation instead then, months later wrote a note in a file to try to cover his actions then proceeded to dope the patient with numerous anti-psychotic drugs with numerous side effects without informing the family until the victim was rendered non-verbal – he should not be allowed to practice to hamsters let alone humans.

Sorry, but none of the above are true. Dr. Figueroa and His staff are excellent. His office is clean with excellent atmosphere. The staff are great and very respectful. Dr. Figueroa is an excellent doctor who cares very much for His patients. I really trust what He says since He knows a lot of health issue and he also give you or refers you to other specialty for different treatments. He is bright and clear and explain you the situation. I am very happy with Him. I highly recommend him.

I've been seeing Dr. Figueroa for over 20 yrs. I've followed him as he moved to several locations and pray he never moves out of state. This physician is a genius having the gift of perception for his client. A keen sense of observation, he has diagnosed problems I have which were never addressed in my life. He sent me to a hospital to have me tested for a problem I have and he was accurate. He diagnosed me with two specific problems which he is helping me with now. If you observe him using the computer during your visit, please take no offense, this man is a genius and never forgets or allows a word you say be ignored. A photographic memory, he is the best. A professional who cares a bit too much for his clients. If you feel you are getting hooked on the meds he gives you, do not take them. We are all adults and need to be responsible for our actions. Do not disparage this Physician, he cares for you and goes the extra mile for each patiend. area several areas of my and may work on his computer while you are speaking to him but my no means is he ignoring you.

Aside from a poorly run office staff, Dr. Figueroa simply stares at the computer screen writing out your prescription with very little eye contact. Shows a true disinterest in patient’s current state of mind. His ego will not allow any constructive criticism.
