List of Sherin Parvez's Reviews
Dr Sharin Parvez I am a relapses patient. First of all, the reseptionist could use a course in proper phone etiquette . She answers the inbound call “Thank you for calling Silver Linings.” Something is missing like “My name is …. How may I help you?” The receptionist has an accept and could possibly be a relative? The doctor cut me short on the first call and was borderline rude. The following calls didn’t get much better.
Gets indignant Both Dr Parvez and her husband get very indignant and hostile if you question them. They will insult you and tell you to go someplace else. Rude. They don’t follow the required behaviors for a psychiatrist.
Dr. Sherin Parvez is absolutely amazing. She is extremely attentive during our sessions has helped me grow throughout my career. She always keeps notes about my personal life and career so we can continue where we left off during our last session. Dr. Sherin Parvez always takes the time to understand me and my life and uses that to treat me properly. The staff at Silver Lining Psychiatry provides an excellent level of patient care and is always available if I have any questions. I would recommend Dr. Sherin Parvez to anyone!
Dr. Sherin Parvez is an awful psychiatrist and should lose her license immediately. I went to this place looking for help and it just proves how hard it is to get mental health help. Dr. Parvez criticized me the entire time and interrupted me many times. She didn’t listen to a word I said and just immediately blamed all my symptoms on marijuana. When I tried to tell her that wasn’t the case she said “if you think you know more than me you can go to another practice”. I have never been so upset with a doctor before and I can’t believe this woman claims to help people.
Would give zero stars if possible. Arrogant, dismissive, and someone who is in the wrong field of medicine.
I don't know if my one-star rating is fair. For a given doctor to truly deserve a single star may need for them to prove themselves inadequate across several different categories of care. I gave up on working with Dr. Sherin Parvez within about five minutes so I never really got to find out whether or not they deserved one-star across the board or if it was simply their bedside manner that was one star. But the bedside manner, specifically that argumentative approach taken by the doctor within the first couple of minutes of our first tele-health session, led me to terminate the session. I said I felt the doctor was not respecting me and that I’d end the call if it continued. It continued. I hung up. I have zero interest in trying to work on my psychiatric care with anyone that won’t listen to their patients.
Fifteen minutes after the scheduled appointment she starts the call, then immediately proceeds to berate me for being impatient. She goes on about how she's had to wait over an hour to see her physicians and that if I'm going to act the way I am that I should seek out another physician. I'm not sure how I gave the impression that I was being impatient, I only sent a few messages, one saying that I was excited to meet her, one where I answered a question she asked about what time my appointment was, and the third asking if now was a bad time for her. But she stated that it was wrong for me to blow up her messages when she's trying to see other patients? I get that she has multiple clients, but for her to hop onto the call and start borderline yelling at me was completely unprofessional, and she's supposed to be a psychiatrist, a specialist practicing in MENTAL health...
You would expect a doctor, especially one supposedly versed in the intricacies of psychiatry, to understand the importance of psychiatric medication. What I mean by this is it’s downright appalling that whenever I am running low on important medication that she prescribes, she will deny my refill until she sees me and gets her $40 dollars for the virtual visit. And anyone who has gone through mental health issues understands the importance of maintaining the correct dosage of these meds as suicide ideation is a prominent side effect when the medication is abruptly stopped. I highly suggestion seeing someone who understands how this process works as she doesn’t seem too.
Poor
Dr. Parvez is a great listener, very patient and explains conditions and medications thoroughly and allows time in each session for questions. The staff is professional and make the appointment and payment process easy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
