Very inefficient front office, Dr. argued with my wife over a COVID vaccine. She told my wife she hadn't gotten her third booster, when my wife had the card showing it being done in the office. She misdiagnosed a rash and also tried to charge for a missed appointment that they had wrong. When I tried to reach someone to discuss, my calls were not returned in spite of the recording stating they would be within 48 hours. Took over a month to talk to someone and when I complained they sent me a letter saying find another doctor.

I visited Dr. Smolen, she was using rude words and annoying repeatedly, didn't check my records for my concerns during the visit. She did not care about what the patient wants. I would not recommend her to anyone for the way she treats her patients.

In my experience Dr. Smolen seems to care more about her wallet than the patient. I was really ill back in 2019 and she diagnosed me with major depressive disorder and I went on short term disability as I adjusted to meds. Anytime my insurance requested a short term disability paperwork update to see if I was still being treated and my progress she required me to make an appointment and pay to see her fill it out. Those questions and paperwork were for the Dr., not me. They gave me my own update papers to fill out. I won't go into details but I was also misdiagnosed. Though I asked if my migraines could be a sinus infection she said it wasn't and it was a symptom of my depression. Well it ended up being a severe sphenoid sinus infection/blockage that was effecting my optic nerve and corratid artery and required surgery after weeks of being treated for depression by Dr. Smolen. Shortly after surgery I began to feel great and like myself again; no depression or meds. I moved to the Midwest a year and a half ago and signed a release for a facility to obtain confirmation of my medical records. I just got a call from Dr. Smolen's office she requires a visit to fill out the form. I told them I moved and the response I got was it's ok she does televisits and says you need an appointment for her to fill out this form. I said I signed a release just send what they need and was told no sorry the Dr. needs you to make an appointment. So unprofessional!

Dr. Smolen is a rare gem of a physician. She takes the time to get to know you, is very thorough, and makes you feel comfortable. She has been my family's PCP for 17 years and both her and her nurse feel more like family.

Dr. Smolen goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She doesn't treat you like a number, takes time to get to know you and understand your medical concerns. She never makes me feel rushed or like my questions are a bother. She is a trusted medical professional that I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Smolen has been my physician for a few years now. My experience with her and the office has been excellent. Dr. Smolen is knowledgeable, caring, and takes time to explain things to you. I feel lucky to have her as my physician.

Completely disconnect with the patients, she is like a robot with no feelings. I felt pretty bad with this doctor, seems she just dont care about her patients. Looks like she hate her job and there is just a place to make money and pay her bills. I dont recommend !
