William Ruderman's Online Review Report Card

Many years ago Dr Ruderman was an excellent doctor. Very kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable. In the last few years he has changed drastically. Absolutely not the same doctor. Burnout IMO . Sad

This would have been my second time getting a colonoscopy with Dr. Ruderman, however, the new policy is if your BMI is too high, you have to go to some other place to have it done. No problem, I've been fat shamed before. . The problem is there are no scheduling options. You have to just take whatever ONE day a month that Dr. Ruderman decides to go to the other place. Never mind work or convenience for a paying patient.

Ruderman seems very rushed and agitated like he hates his job.I have gone to him for several years now and he has changed.His scheduler for a colonoscopy is a nightmare they only know his schedule for one month in advance so you cannot plan easily around your work and life schedules.They call you last minute so you have minimal options I think they are spread too thin now and the quality of work has declined in the last ten years a lot.You feel like a number not a person.

callling for an appointment took multiple calls, due to very long wait times. Dr Ruderman provided a diagnosis in 10 min, with no testing ordered, prescribed Rx and said see me in 3 months. Turns out, there was a test he could have ordered, which I had to ask for, after I spoke to a patient of another dr in the practice. test came back +/ new Rx ordered, no follow up or info of test result details provided, now I've been dropped as a patient. NOT impressed with care! go elsewhere PLEASE!

He did a colonoscopy and before I knew it, the procedure was over! Fantastic doctor!!

Uninterested. Rushed. Unhelpful. Rude. Insensitive. No aftercare. No follow/up. Incompetent billing. EVERYONE at this office apathetic, robotic, uptight, unfriendly, unhappy, rushed, distant, uninterested in patient's well/being.

It seems as if Dr Ruderman exists to funnel patients into his very busy G.I. testing system. It is very impressive and thoroughly efficient. What is not efficient is his aftercare. Follow up on the identified problems is limited; the ability to ask questions is non-existent. He spent a total of two minutes with me after the test and was walking away as I was still trying to get an answer or two. I was told to have another test that he did not do but took 1 1/2 months to schedule. In the meantime I was left with constant pain and vomiting; no medicine or treatment offered until the test was completed. I called his office for assistance during a particularly acute time but the staff said that he was busy and could not be interrupted and that they would call back; I may have to come in. I waited in the area of his office for two hours but of course no call back. It is now three days later and my symptoms have subsided. His patient throughput seems impressive, his knowledge extensive, but there are many other things to include patient briefing and aftercare that greatly diminish all that he is probably capable of.

This doctor has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced.

Great Dr.,horrible practice. Just had to "fire "Dr. R, i've been going to him for years for colonoscopy and endoscopes. As a doctor he's great,but in the practice you're a number and they mess up Billings. today was the final straw. 3 o'clock appointment at 4:25 still had not seen the doctor, and the appointment would basically be five minutes,yeah let's schedule you for your yearly scopes. Every year I go. I spent four months straightening out the last billing. Today was the final straw.

Simply the best in Central Florida. He's extremely bright, professional and charming
