List of Thomas Sanders's Reviews
Front office in constant state of confusion. Cannot keep appointments straight and will allow you to sit in waiting areauntil you rot rather than do any follow up.
In calling to talk to the doctor or nurse, they do not return calls. I had a procedure scheduled that got rescheduled three times with very little choice on my part. Switching doctors.
After the office rescheduled a procedure multiple times and neither doctor nor nurse returned several calls, I am switching doctors. Dr. Sanders seemed to not really care and jumped to judgement about my following through with any recommendations he would make. Does not seem to care about patients and more interested in moving people through his office to get the numbers and more money from insurance and patients.
HORRIBLE experience. Inexcusably poor care for elderly woman. No respect of patient rights. Poor treatment plan...wait...NO treatment plan lead to sepsis.
Dr. Sanders was the physician called in by the hospital. He recommended a foley system for my 90 year old mother. He provided no education on how to take care of the system. He provided no home health care option, and on the follow up visit after my mother contracted a very serious infection due to the foley, he didn't examine her or ask her about her health. He immediately started recording on a pocket recorder his defense and why he was not responsible for what happened to mom.
Put in a stent. The insurance changed and now fighting to get it out. He tends to not explain well. Hates you asking questions also walks away when answering or says I already explained this. Very rude and tells patients they are faking pain. We get this stent out, we'll never return.
Absolutely no bedside manner
Doctor spent more time with his Dictaphone than in talking with me. I found him to be arrogant and condescending. Perhaps he is efficient at what he does (kidney stone treatment), but I could not get past his bedside manner... he makes TV's Doctor House seem downright cuddly !! He doesn't listen, just speaks into his tape, and then says "..patient can always go to Gainesville Center or Orlando, or seek other opinion..." You know what? I did! btw, his staff was excellent... it was he which I could not take!
Constantly records conversation, asked him a question, He said " I know your time is important, but mine time is more important" as he left the room. No time for questions. Went to Moffitt, much better care. Moffitt said I have a whole in my bladder from the operation.
This office is like a factory. I waited 45 minutes and walked out. If this Dr runs such an inefficient office I sure don't want him as a Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
