She is the best...and I've had my share. Operated on my colon and had me back on my feet in no time. I would go to her for any surgery .

Dr Shurman is one of the two best surgeons in the country. She shares this rating from me with Dr Coyle. They both work at Santa Rosa Medical Center where I had my surgery two days ago. I am now free of pain & pain killers thanks to them. If you are having any pelvic pain don't put off calling for an appointment.....and don't take pain pills to put it off. You will loose good quality time like I did. Don't let a doctor tell you that nothing can be done about your pain. If one does please consult Dr Shurman or Dr Coyle before you believe it. .....and don't be afraid if they need to operate. They are the greatest! They also have a robot to assist with some surgeries...don't be afraid of that either. And go to Santa Rosa Medical Center for your surgery. It's a great hospital. Wish I could do more then write this note...but what do you say about someone that saved your life? I have had three surgeries by Dr. Pam and feel so comfortable around her. it is like talking to a girlfriend. Her staff are great and they don't over-book patients. She has a great bedside manner before and after surgery. You know she cares how you feel.
