I recently received a phone call canceling my appointment at 215 pm and after I had already confirmed my appointment for 845 the next day via text and phone. Thought this was very unprofessional due to the fact it was not ample time to make myself available to go to back to work . The reason was due them not checking when the insurance time period was if I had not shown up for my appointment I would have been billed. The insurance company gave 4 times for visits but time ran out insurance referralso this should have been looked at prior to making appointments think more advanced notifications would have been appropriate. Liked the doctor and knowledgeable staff but think this is not a good thing for relying on perhaps life or death. I make my adjustments for the doctors in accordance to appointments made but figured they would reciprocate by making sure insurance would pre authorized for any visitation along with time line.
Bunch of idiots that are low grade for medical help. Cant even refill a prescription properly including the correct pharmacy. Try to get copies of their bills or as they call it visit summaries and doesnt happen no matter who you talk to. But the bills come with no explanation of services rendered or charges due to insurance or patient. No way of checking prices charged and who pays what. Must be afraid of the truth. And thats all offices within the organization. Do your heart a favor and go to another practice.
I can’t say enough about how comfortable their staff makes me feel every time I have an appointment The front office girls are always there to greet the patients with a kind and personable attitude Evalena and Cecile alway take the time to sit down and talk with me getting every single detail…..these ladies are a true asset to the practice Last but not least Dr. Alknabki……he’s just wonderful His bedside manner is amazing and he leaves you feeling good about your course of treatment Thank you all for all that you do Blessings
Good
They are very good there the nurses the techs and the Doctors love dealing with Dr. Alnabki. They are very good and concerned over their patients. Thank you all very much.
My husband had a stress test and follow up in June. His cardiologist did not see him but a partner did. The partner came in told my husband he was fine. I asked about his aneurysm and this doctor told me he didnt have any. He does have an aneurysm just not large enough for operation at this time. The doctor was insistent that he didnt have one He also was looking at his phone during this time and seemed to be very impatient to get out of the room. He told my husband to lose weight watch his salt and was going to change his statin drug. We asked what it was and impatiently he gave us the generic name. I asked what it was generic for and it happened to be a drug my husband cannot take. The doctor saidoh well just stay on what youre on. As he was hurriedly exiting the room his parting shot to my husband let me know when you have that baby. Very unprofessional and no time for questions. My husband said he would never go back to 1st Coast. The office manager has NEVER returned my call over the complaint.
went to have stress testing and echo today and had a very friendly and courteus staff and doctors and pa .i had a very uplifting visit simply wonderful it blessed my heart to leave a doctors office feeling so blessed to be there
My Dr. didnt read my test. He had two other Dr. In FCCI read them which they each charged me separately and and then he wanted me to come back in to tell me what they said so he could then charge me another charge. Feels like a scam to me. Thats probably why the lobby was empty both times I went there. I have been going to a cardiologist for 5 years and have never heard of such BS. I would not recommend them to anyone.
First Coast Cardiovascular is by the far the best that I have ever been too. Both the St. Augustine and the Palatka office I have personally been to. Every member of their staff is friendly and professional. They also have large staff of doctors and PAs so if one doctor doesnt quite fit your needs another one will. Thank You for all you do

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
