We are so pleased with Elizabeth she takes her time, is very professional, compassionate and extremely smart. She knows here profession and explains every. During our visit she stops typing, makes eye contact and explains her course of action. In all our years we have never been so pleased with a care provider.

When my world seemed as though it was collapsing with my husband having AFIB diagnosis, I needed clarification of medical terms and procedures his Gainesville Cardiologist was conducting. My phone message was promptly returned by Tony DiCarlo, PA he has seen for many years while Dr. Matheny, MD remains his Primary Physician. As the world continues to offer (the majority of the time) paycheck attitudes meaning more concern for $ than excellent service/communication/skills..... this medical practice truly cares and deserves respect during the most challenging times we've all been and continue to be exposed too. Doctor Matheny's practice is really a number of doctors, medical assistants, and nurse practitioners working out of a common facility. The question becomes are they employees or subcontractors? The primary motivation seems to be a reduction of office expenses. In 7 years, I never had a complete physical. I have primarily dealt with 1 MD, 1 medical assistant, and 1 nurse practitioner. I have had multiple prescriptions including insulin canceled within 3 days of refill. When questioned about this, it is denied. The details of the cancelation were confirmed with the pharmacy being utilized. It is difficult to trust a practice under those conditions.

It's extremely rude people that do not care about their patient's his their patient's health even if you have heart conditions conditions they will make you wait over an hour after your appointment taking everybody that came in after you and then lock you out of your account so you cannot view your info

Ignore the negative fake reviews clearly aimed by competitors. Matheny hasn't worked here in years they maintain the name. great staff and providers.

Worse doctor and staff ever. They don’t care about you and he is Always to busy at the nursing home. His staff is very Rude.

Dr Jack Matheny never listens to health problems. I have never had a physical exam since I've been there. The hospital said I had a infection. He did nothing..I told him I felt a lump above left calar bone. He did nothing..I told him I felt something in my rectum. He did nothing..I have a lot of health issue that are very concerning..He has told me that he can only do so much for me because if he does what he should do is affard that the insurance will cut him off..He cares more about the money then the needs of his customer's

Staff rude and disrespectful.

Neither the office staff or doctors know the meaning of compassion. They ignore you when you try to explain what’s wrong and then have you repeat yourself numerous times because they don’t know how to focus on 1 patient at a time.
