Love Dr Gaines, one of the few drs that’s listens to you and is sincerely interested in you as a person. Very good doctor and very knowledgeable Never have to wait and staff are very nice and helpful.

Dr. Gaines has been a wonderful doctor of mine for probably 25 years. He recently sold is practice to Island Doctors and now only accepts Medicare, no commercial insurance. The staff that has joined him from Island Doctors, and apparently their supervisor, have no common sense and absolutely no empathy for Dr. Gaines' patients. I received the letter in the mail in early December that he was changing the practice. I immediately called and scheduled an appointment to get my refills to give me time to find another PCP. Dr. Gaines assured me he would get all my scripts renewed so I did not have to rush to find someone. This did not happen. When I called back the new girl told me it was too soon to get refills and she could not call them in to have CVS hold them. CVS told me they were eligible for refill on the 1st, a holiday, so I called back on the 4th, the first business day. I was no, they would not call them in, I was know longer a patient after the 31st. It did not matter that I visited in December and they refused to call them in at that time. Now that CVS would allow the refills, Island Doctor's staff refused to call them in. I cannot believe that they would come in and treat Dr. Gaines patients this way and I cannot believe that Dr. Gaines allows them to. A good doctor in Palatka that is no more.

Fantastic staff...... Fantastic Doctor, very in tune with patients.making my visit a complete satisfactory one. He is GOD SENT .I AM SO VERY HAPPY AND GRATEFUL FINDING DR.GAINES. He answered all my questions, and fears, with love understanding, and compassion. For Many years ,I have not been comfortable with previous Doctors, overall with Diagnosis, Treatment and CONCERNS,.... I HAVE TOTAL RESPECT, and TRUST WITH THIS DOCTOR. WONDERFUL PERSONALITY 5 plus 🌟 STARS

Dr.Gains took good care of me in September during my weeks stay at Putnam County medical Center due to phuemonia. My very own primary Doctor of 8yrs (Dejuk) NEVER paid me one visit my whole hospital stay! So, with that being said, from this day forward I'm going to use Dr. Gains as my primary Doctor.

I have spent my entire adult like looking for a PCP to settle down with. Usually after a visit or two, I can tell that my health and well-being was never priority. That all changed when I met Dr. Gaines. He is the most down to earth, caring and honest physician that I have ever met and the first that I call my PCP. He listens and is super easy to joke with. He never treats any issue that I bring to him as small and eases my mind when I look too much into something without making me feel silly or delusional. Super amazing man and blessed to have found him.

Absolutely the best listener of any doctor I've been to. His staff is the same way, very friendly. Love Amber. She listens to his patients whether in the office or on the phone and follows up on any needs of the patient. I am really happy to be Dr. Gaines' patient. They really deserve six stars.
