List of Adam Close's Reviews
Dr Close had little to no bedside manner. He was as short as possible in the appointment (e.g. he was halfway out of the room before he remembered he forgot to even listen to the baby's heartbeat). He was condescending and seemed to judge any time i asked a question that didn't just go along with the typical treatment plan. the only positive piece is that he was on time.
I have been Dr. Close’s patient for a few years now. He probably one of the best and most gentle gynecologists I have ever had. He is very kind, caring, warm, and even has a sense of humor. I would definitely recommend him.
Staff is warm welcoming and very professional. Dr. Close is by far the best obgyn I have had in a while. He is kind and always listens to my concerns.
first time seeing him and fell inlove instantly. i knew he was the right doctor for me after ha going twins and finding out he was also expecting twins, he took his time and answered all my crazy questions. he allowed me to make my own choices when it came to my birth plan & that made me feel at ease.thanks for being you!
I was referred to Dr. Close to have surgery and I’m glad they did. My surgery with him was great and I’m feeling way better than I was. Dr Close answer all my questions before and after my surgery and made sure I was ok. He is very professional and one of the best OBGYN’s here in Brevard County.
2020 has been one of the worst years of my existence. I desperately needed a dr and I just called scheduling to get in with anyone ASAP. Dr.Close is who I saw and I’m glad it was him. He listened to everything I’ve been through with no judgement and cared about my concerns and gave solutions right away. Glad I got in with him!
I LOVE Dr. Close! He is by far my favorite OB/GYN I've ever had, including all of the doctors at the Health First Gateway clinic. He doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions, and takes his time to answer everything. He does not make you feel rushed (like most doctors do) and is all-around a great guy and doctor. Highly recommend!
First of all I would like to say that this has been one of the worst encounters that I’ve ever had with an OB/GYN. Dr. Close first of all had no idea what my doctor appointment was even scheduled for. He was trying to schedule me in for a service that I had already had done weeks ago. From the second he stepped into the room he was already trying to rush me out. He kept saying “ok is it?” and was trying to schedule me for my next appointment. He did find the time to be little me and demand to know why I haven’t found the time yet to do the blood test he suggested, after I told him that I am a working mother and haven’t been able to get the time off yet. I was so shocked at the way he spoke to me and was talking down to me the entire time. Not to mention all the times he was respectful and nice my husband was present with me. Yet when I was by myself, he thought he could talk to me in that manner. The whole purpose of my appointment was to receive the results of my Pap smear which I still to this day have no clue what those results even are. He is totally lacking in how to deal with women or their concerns during pregnancy and I find this highly alarming for anyone to entrust him with their unborn child. This would be my 3rd pregnancy and I am very familiar with exactly what it takes during delivery and what kind of doctor one should have to deliver your baby. He had absolutely no regard for my mental health, how I am feeling or the health concerns I have for my baby. His bedside manner completely locked any compassion or care for the problems that I told him that I was under going through my pregnancy. He verbatim told me that he thinks that I would be “just fine” when telling him about my severe anxiety and panic attacks I was having during my pregnancy and my history of mental disabilities. He offered zero support or suggestions on ways to cope other than he thinks that it is not an issue at all. During that last visit I told him that he will absolutely NOT be the one delivering my baby and I will never step foot in his office again. Then two days later I received a letter in the mail of him stating that he did not think that I would be a good fit as a patient for him, even though I already was very clear that I did not want him as a doctor any longer because of his medical expertise was lacking concern for the health of myself or my unborn child. He is in no way shape or form concerned with supporting mothers who want to give a natural child birth so mother’s BEWARE. My first few appointments he was perfectly fine and was in agreement with my needs and wants and then it all of a sudden changed and now at 21 weeks, halfway through my pregnancy I am looking for a new doctor. I am happy to see this about him now and not on delivery day- what a complete nightmare that would of been. I am beyond grateful he is no longer my doctor. Ladies please be ware of this sexist, male chauvinist, lacking complete care or concern of a doctor.
Great doctor, very personable and takes his time with you so that you feel comfortable with your care/treatment.
Dr. Close is one of the best obgyn’s I’ve ever had. Listens well and has a great bedside manner. Had a hysterectomy and he as well as his staff were great. I highly recommend this Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
