Rachel Cartechine's Online Review Report Card

Unorganized and uncaring office. Dr Cartechine herself is nice and knowledgeable, but most of the interaction is with the staff, and Christine up front does not seem to care about the patients at all. The office is disorganized, has lost samples, and is not good at calling back. I called back in today because I didn’t have a refill for my old medication or the answers needed to start my new medication before the holiday weekend, and was made to feel like it was fault because the 3 days I gave them was not enough time for them to call back with answers on my treatment plan that was already in place. They told me there was no doctor backup for when Dr Cartechine was on call for the last 2 days and so they couldn’t get me answers or a refill. Without my medication I would have ended up in the ER. Thankfully, the Gateway location was able to explain everything to me about how to switch over to the new medication and they completed my refill (CVS had been sending refill requests for over a week). I will be switching to the Gateway location.

Doctor was inadequate during my delivery and insulted me during my delivery!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Cartechine yesterday and I can't say enough good things about her approach and professionalism. Dr. Cartechine was very welcoming and asked many questions prior to my examination. Additionally, she gave me suggestions for staying healthy. She is an excellent doctor. I am very happy to have her as my OBGYN. I highly recommend her.

She is my very favorite obgyn who fixed my fertility. I only go to her for my pregnancies. Im willing to drive to see her even after her office moved because theres no one like her

Terrible bedside manner. I felt like a number on a list. She rushed me though and didn't take time to discuss my symptoms or issues. She actually laughed at me when I asked a medication question. I went in with concerns of abnormal bleeding and pain. She left out all notes and documentation on my chart and did not post my imaging to my patient profile. I made an appointment with a different doctor for a second opinion and they said there was no information posted. I had to call and ask for them to at least upload my imaging. She handed me one prescription on Monday then called in a different one Friday without discussing it with me. The pharmacy had to look it up because I had no idea what it was or where it came from. Completely unorganized, unsympathetic, and uncaring

Poor bedside manner. She laughed at me when asking questions and did not include any information in my patient charts or upload my images to my patient profile. I had to call and ask for it to be updated so I can be seen by a different doctor for a second opinion. She accused me of refusing medication options when all I did was list the ones that I had already tried. She called in a random prescription without discussing it with me. I absolutely do not recommend her to my worst enemy.

She was 45 minutes late for my 11am appt, then tried to say my appt was for 11:30 even tho I have the confirmation email from her office saying 11am. She never apologized acted like she didn’t care! Then she does a biopsy which I appreciated, she promised she’d call me with results regardless of findings, still haven’t heard from her it’s been a month. The only reason I know what the results are is bc she called a Rx in to my pharmacy which contacted me that I had a Rx ready for pick up! Then she orders a mammogram for me even tho she has access to my records that show that I just had my mammogram this year! I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone!! Ever!

I waited 45 minutes before being seen and when I made my disdain for the tardiness happen the Dr lied and told me my appt was 30min later than the confirmed text & email received from HF. Additionally, she did a biopsy on me and promised she would call me with the results. I received an automated email stating results were in. From their I found out medication was sent to my pharmacy as a result of my biopsy. So much for that phone call she says she provides to all of her patients!! I won’t go back!
