Terrible "doctor". Gave no care to explain anything.
I was referred to Dr Mues for surgery to remove my kidney due to cancer. I was somewhat concerned about meeting him based on the negative reviews. I had a friend accompany me on my visit to Dr. Mues to help ensure I had a good understanding and to help remember any questions and information discussed. Well Dr Mues is very precise, thoughtful, thorough, and confident. I appreciate his confident and direct manner. I want a confident doctor who can explain things thoroughly . He was patient with my questions and he was very precise and explained exactly what to expect. My surgery was a success and everything happened just as he said. And of course he visited me in the hospital and he was warm, thoughtful and kind. I am very thankful to Dr. Mues and I believe him to be an excellent doctor. And by the way my friend completely agreed with me.
Stay away!! Just my opinion.
Dr Mues preformed Robotic surgery on me for Prostate Cancer in 2020 . He did a great job and was very easy to talk to . Dr. Mues is an Excellent Doctor.
One star is way too generous. I wouldn’t let him fix a scratch.
had surgery to prevent incontinence. 6 months later is back to level i was before surgey
I had a 3:30 appt and was there by 3:00. I had called twice earlier in the week to get a blood order for my PSA. Dr. Mues would not take the time to sign the order and the nurse is no longer allowed to order bloodwork. They cancelled my appt and rescheduled me with a nurse practitioner. I have been a patient for over 5 years with him and just needed my yearly Prostate check and PSA. This appt was made July 2022. My appt was confirmed through Cleveland Clinic scheduling. His nurse also confirmed my 3:30 appt both times I spoke to her. I never received a call from his office nor did they leave a message on my voicemail. He is leaving Cleveland Clinic and it appears he doesn't have any respect for his patients now that he is leaving.
Ct scan discovered cancerous kidney growth. Dr. Mues operated and removed one of my kidneys. I believe he saved my life. He followed up with CT to monitor once a year. I am in my third year with no pain and cancer free. I was very lucky. He is a great Dr.
I would share my experience but I think my 1 star should say enough !!
I see my Urologist, Dr. Adam Mues and I request a PSA Test. He tells me at my age, 77, they no longer do them. Later I see my G.P. and I ask for a PSA Test. I get a call from his office telling me I have an elevated PSA and need to make an appointment with my Urologist as soon as possible. Back to Adam Mues who schedules me for a Prostrate Biopsy. About two days after the Biopsy, I find myself in the Emergency Room with a fever, uncontrollable chills and an infection, most likely from the Biopsy. About a week later I am back in Dr. Adam Mues' Office for my follow up appointment for the Biopsy. He refuses to discuss the ER Visit! He says we are here to talk about your Biopsy results--You have Prostrate Cancer, you are too old for surgery, I can refer you to a Radiologist if you like. I say Okay, obviously I have questions! He leaves the room and never returns! Had I listened to him my cancer would have gone undetected! Never go there! Highly recommend Dr. Michael C. Solomon GREAT!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
