Charles Theofilos's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Theofilos is a Neurosurgeon. He diagnosed my problem and explained all aspects of it. He recommended surgery. He seemed to be kind, caring, knowledgeable, and intelligent. He does minimally invasive surgery, which is his specialty. He also tried to charge me $25,000 for the surgery, stating that my insurance did not cover minimally invasive surgery. So, I found another surgeon who was a thousand times better and who did the exact same surgery very successfully, completely using my insurance.

Insisted on Stem Cell injections as part of surgery, at significant increase in uninsured procedure in amount of $10,000. Several other surgeons have stated that stem cell injection as part of Laminectomy at L4 absolutely unnecessary, but it pays a lot more than Medicare. He states it is take it or leave it if u want my services. Very arrogant, took 6 calls over 10 days to get phone answered for an appointment

Unbelievable results! Had an in office procedure done, can't say enough good about Dr Theophilos and his staff...thank you so much for making me feel much better, and your care and concern from start to finish! Call them for ALL of your spine needs, they won't let you down! My procedure to 1.5-2 hrs total, and I am actually feeling the results TODAY, my procedure was YESTERDAY! From the initial visit, to my consult with Diana, surgical coordinator, to the rest of the staff including Nick, Robin, Dotty (sp), even the anesthesiologist, I knew I was in the best of hands-I have all the confidence in them and would highly recommend. "Dr Theo" isn't your ordinary physician with an attitude, he is personable, and you know from the start he will do what's in your best interest! Thank you all for making me feel so much better, even though there's more to go!

Very professional environment and the staff members are very courteous and friendly. I did 3 series of Epidural and I felt comfortable and got immediate relief from my first dose. I would recommend anyone to visit Dr. Theofilos if you’re having any spinal problems. His years of experience really come through

Dr Theofilos should be reported to the AMA and investigated by Medical Authorities for his crude , unethical , unprofessional treatment of his patients . His erratic behavior is quite unsettling and possibly constitutes Medical Negligence

I have not met such a thoughtful, intuitive, patient-focused doctor in a very long time. I am so encouraged towards my ongoing treatment by Dr Theofolis. The courtesy of the staff is commendable.

I appreciate a doctor who listens. I appreciate a doctor who responds when contacted. I appreciate a doctor who isn’t obviously rushing to see the next patient. Dr. Theofilos doesn’t check even one box.

I’ve been going to Dr. T’s office for about a year and a half. Due to the severity of my case, I needed a doctor who would be patient, kind, and didn’t mind taking a break if things were moving too fast. Dr. T is by far the best spine specialist in FLORIDA. Overall, I had 9 injections which required anesthesia and 6 procedures which also required anesthesia. Every single time I had either a procedure or follow-up, the staff spoke to me like we were family. Since this was my very last procedure “cross fingers” I won’t be seeing them as much but if I’m ever in the area, I have a place to call home. Dr. T - love you my man! Robinx’s 2 - both of you were awesome!! Lisa&Nick - you guys are so good with patients and even though things can get busy, you always keep your same momentum while reassuring the patients comfortability. Diana - never take time off again! The office needs you!! Lol you’re amazing in everything you do. Overall, you’d be an idiot NOT to go to Dr. T and his staff.

every word he spoke was a lie. Please do yourself a favor and do not believe a word that comes from his mouth. the problems with him and his so called minimum invasive procedure are too lengthy to mention here. He could be the worst surgeon the state of Florida.

Dr. T is one of the best doctors for taking all the time that is needed to allow his patients to fully understand the condition and treatment that is needed for full recovery. Dr. T and his entire staff is head and shoulders above all others. Thank you, over and over again.
