It’s been almost 9 years since Dr. Gomez saved my life. I was Dx Caudana Equana syndrome, needed emergency surgery. I was 25 at the time. In shape, active. I was doing all the right things, PT, good weight for me. He usually goes through the back, but we chose ALIF because I was young, and I’m so so thankful for his discretion. It’s harder to build back muscle vs. abdomens and I think that’s what has kept me going post surgery. This Man gave me my life back so many years later, and I lift more weight than I did before he fixed me.

Several years ago, Dr. Gomez performed a cervical fusion on me bc I was having intense pain in my left arm. Post op,I was better. The titanium plate and screws are harder than bone. Over the years, the adjacent bone to the metal has worn down, leaving me with horrific arthritis and adjacent bone disease, which I was never told were long-term outcomes. Due to cervical Dystonia, I am not able to have any corrective surgery. I am in constant pain with headaches and neck pain. I use ice but refuse to become an opiate addict. I have learned to be very skeptical of doctors. They are in business to sell their services and keep you coming back. I never recommend fusions due to long-term consequences and pain that is worse. Stay away from monster medicine.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gomez. He is very professional and his office and staff are great. One year after my husband's ACDF surgery he is doing great. Dr. Gomez explained everything in detail and was always there to answer all questions. He is very detail orientated and did a great job from start to finish and beyond. We can't say enough good things about him and his staff!

Dr Gomez came highly recommended, and with good reason. Prior to my surgery, I was unable to stand for more than 10 minutes without a great deal of pain. After surgery, my symptoms were alleviated almost immediately.Additionally, the office staff is very accommodating, knowledgable, and professional.

Lisa in the front office and Dana are the best nicest, she treated me so well couldn’t aske for more. Definitely a successful surgery by Dr.Gomez 100% fine now unreal staff!!

He fixed my back an L5S1 Fusion surgery. After living with years of agonizing pain I'm happy to write 5 years after he performed the miracle I'm still living pain free.His right hand woman Dawn in the office was amazing ,extremely helpful.

Dr Gomez is an excellent surgeon. The only one I'd see for spinal concerns. Conservative & caring. I'd also like to thank Lisa for her help & concern. I'd highly recommend Dr Gomez & his staff. I'm grateful for the care I received.

The staff at Dr Gomez office is phenomenal. They are friendly, professional and the attention to detail is awesome. He is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons in Florida. Dr Gomes is patient and his attention to detail is by far the greatest. I was so impressed with how specific his instructions were as to my surgery. As a nurse we tend to be very pic-key of what MD especially a Surgeon. I would go back to him even though I’m 2 hrs away. He was preceded with care and had a wonder team. It’s been over 4 yrs since my surgery and I’m doing great. My limitation are very min. I had difficulty turning right after the surgery now I almost don’t feel it al all.
