Dr. Routman did a regular shoulder replacement of my left shoulder 9 years ago. I am a landscape artist and a “righty.” I hesitated to do a reverse shoulder replacement of my right arm as I was not sure how much movement I would lose as far as my painting was concerned. But today, about 3 months after Dr. Routman did the right shoulder I am back to my large oil paintings again. He is charming, caring, confident, talented and has a group of people who work with him in his office that know just what they are doing. X-rays take just a few minutes, assistants see you first to cover all odds and ends and then in walks Dr. Routman with a big smile. Bring something to read while waiting; he is popular, but that’s because he is wonderful!

Doctor Routman , are great!!! He fixed my bad shoulder years ago. And I have not problems since there … I am going for the other one and I put my shoulder on his hands … also the staff are , faster and confidently… i am glad to find This place for me .. definitely recommendable .

Good credentials on paper, but not so much in practice. Long wait time (>45 min) in the waiting room then additional long wait times in the exam room (>30 min). The office staff were generally pleasant and helpful. The medical assistant and PA's asked the same questions of you as though no communication between staff, even though they seemed to type/write down patient responses, and then Dr. Routman only spent 3-4 minutes in the room. The experience felt cold, uncaring and dismissive each visit. I would NOT recommend this practice for those reasons.

I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Routman’s staff was able to provide me with an appointment so quickly. Every step was a pleasant experience. I’m fortunate to have this very experienced physician provide me with a second opinion regarding my shoulder.

This was my initial visit so I was uncertain how things would proceed. I was/am pleased with the efforts to get to know me, and my medical history which is complex. I was thoroughly interviewed with sincere concern. I became confident that Dr. Routmans staff and P.A. cared and my anxieties disappeared. When the Doctor came in, he was up to speed with my personal details and laid out a course of action that was very comfortable. He made it clear that he understood my medical history and was proceeding with caution making MY well being his primary concern. Dr. Routman earned my trust and I am now confident I am in very good hands.
