I've been using Dr. Canasi and Jamie Martinez-DNP, APRN, NP-C - now for several years and the care level and attention to the patient by them is World Class ---EXCELLENT Service. Office is always immaculate and every member of the Staff are fantastic and treat every patient with perfect professionalism and friendliness! If you are searching for a wonderful, professional, and highly skilled Primary Canasi Institute cannot be beaten ....!

I needed a primary care doctor for Medicare. Dr. C fits the bill. He was timely, friendly, wasted NO time, curteous and likeable. Staff friendly and professional. Nice location though needed more explicit directions than I rec'd. Village Square is a lot of buildings so it helps to know which one and what side of the building to park on. Lots of parking. I felt I got expert help. I also will be seeing him when I switch my MJ doc records. The best part is he didn't give me an argument when I refused a lot of the "recommended protocol" as I follow Functional Medicine through another channel. I liked Dr. C as does my daughter. Very neat, clean offices. Felt very comfortable. In and out was easy. I'm 80 y/o with no medical issues or meds.

Office staff very nice and very clean office. Dr. Canasi was on time and very detailed with my visit. I would recommend him if you need a very good doctor.

My visit concerned an ongoing issue. He was a patient listener explaining my options on treatment. Additionally, he counseled me of travel protocols as I am leaving the country next week.

I cannot adequately express how disgusted I am by this Doctor. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Canasi several years ago, but booked a consultation with him due to his office being close to my home, and I am desperate for answers. (Several years ago I was told that I was on "too many medications", before he got ANY background on my medical history. My psychiatrist was furious.) My husband and I took the time to sit down and write down everything about the symptoms I have been experiencing, and what I have been diagnosed with by my psychiatrist. We both have serious concerns that some of my symptoms are being exacerbated by an underlying and undiagnosed medical condition (such as a thyroid issue), and I went into the appointment knowing I was going to have to advocate for myself. The nurse took my paper and copied it for the Doctor to review. He came into the room and said "I read your note, I can't help you with any of this." I was flabbergasted. I was well aware that I would likely need to see specialists for some of the symptoms I was experiencing, but his attitude and demeanor gave me the impression that he was daring me to prove him wrong. I was talked over, told that the medications I am on for panic disorder are addicting (as if this was the first, second, or even third medication we have tried to manage the disorder), and treated me like I was stupid for even seeking treatment with him. When I inquired about blood work, he stated I would need to come back for a physical before he would order that test. (Likely so my insurance could be billed for another appointment.) What the Doctor doesn't know is my husband is a nurse. He BEGGED me to go to the Doctor to rule out other medical issues thar could be contributing to the debilitating condition I have, because I don't WANT to be on medication for the rest of my life. I did not receive treatment or medical advice, I was belittled by the Doctor and his staff. I was accused by the receptionist of no showing to an appointment I booked in November that I CANCELLED due to my father suffering a major stroke. Please do not go to this Doctor. I will be carefully watching to see what they bill my insurance for.

I was recently went to Dr Canasi for the first time the office is very clean and staff was very helpful. I would refer anyone to him what a great doctor.
