List of Jeffrey Brown's Reviews
I've been going to doctor brown since I was first diagnostic with hypothyroidism and he's always ALWAYS been amazing
I've been going to Dr. Brown's office on and off for several years. It wasn't until recently that I decided I was sick of his office and changed doctors. Why I waited this long I do not know. Every time you visit the office you're going to wait at least an hour to be seen. Unlike other reviews, the office staff has never been rude to me, but I can say that sometimes you will call and no one will answer (even during office hours). He's never been able to assign me to a health plan that works. Every time you go in he just wants more blood work and then wants you to come back again. So you're always having to come back again and again and again. My guess is because that's how he can bill your insurance and make money, by telling you on every visit that you have to come back in 4-6 weeks and do more blood work. He makes you wait forever to see him and then when we walks into the room your visit is about 5 mins or less and then you're done. I will admit that I do not follow his protocol of going back every few weeks. However, in seeing my new endocrinologist that's not even a requirement; I knew it was weird. Everything about this office is just weird. It's definitely not an office where the client/patient feels appreciated, listened to or even respected. In closing, I just got a bill for a June 6th appointment. I didn't have a June 6th appointment. So I called their billing dept. and was told I was billed $25 because a pharmacy had to speak with them to transfer my prescription. In my 42 years of life that is a first. Ridiculous.
Three years ago my husband had an A1C rating for his type 2 diabetic condition. His body was shutting down and his health was questionable. I found Dr. Brown online and after seeing him my husband's A1C has maintained in the 6,8 levels which is close to normal. The RX and 4 mo followups have kept him in check. We drive 2 hrs to get to the office but worth the trouble of traffic. I have since also use Dr Brown for my thyroid issues and are pleased with my results. Our office visits are scheduled at the same time which helps our travel time. His lighthearted humor is refreshing and his questions put us at ease. We recommend him highly.
Dr. took his time with me and explained everything that needed to be done. Did not rush through anything and answer all of my questions. Finally a Doctor Who found out what was going on with me and giving me a diagnosis. Very helpful and understanding I would highly recommend him to anybody
My mother was a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Brown and only got worse during her time visiting this doctor. Dr.Brown would take less than 3 minutes to listen to her during her follow-up check ups! My mother time after time would tell him how the medicine was only making her feel worse and HE WOULD CONTINUE TO PRESCRIBE IT! After going to two other endocrinologists, it turns out my mother DOESN'T EVEN HAVE HYPOTHYROIDISM!!! She was on the medicine for over a year!! And even when my mom thought she had hypothyroidism, the office didn't even have the prescription ready! Honestly, it seems like Dr.Brown is a slave to the pharmaceuticals and just prescribes Synthroid (thyroid medication) for his own personal monetary gain!! He would also make my mom get TWO blood exams MONTHLY just draining her of money! The other two endocrinologist even said drawing blood twice monthly is a ridiculous amount. OVERALL, do not go to this "doctor" if you can even call him that -- doctors are supposed to prioritize the well-being of their patients.
So far, Dr. Jeffrey Brown is a master when it comes to doing a full work up on endocrine diagnostics! He is thorough, thoroughly thorough and then some!! I've been getting results that have changed my life! He's been in practice forever and knows his stuff in a way I truly appreciate! Thank you also, to the entire office!
I had the absolutely worst experience with Dr Jeffrey Brown. He ordered many tests, and I had to pay $1,500 out of my own pocket for the tests my insurance didn't cover. I have good insurance but perhaps my insurance company could see how ridiculous the tests were. After all that, he incorrectly diagnosed me with Hypothyroid. One of his nurses told me that everyone who comes into their office is diagnosed as Hypothyroid. Of course, that's statistically impossible unless it's medical fraud. After months of being on medication that made me miserable, I went to a different doctor who realized during my first visit that I don't have Hypothyroid but instead have something completely different. Save yourself a lot of pain and steer away from this doctor.
RECEPTIONIST RUDE ! RUDE! RUDE!RUDE! RUDE!!!!! We are looking for another doctor because of his Staff. The attitude at this office is the worst I have ever seen. He will lose patience because of this It is sad that his staff is so ugly . Looking for new doc
Dr. Brown is very professional and his staff is excellent! I am so glad that I was referred to him.
I have found my experience to be very enjoyable. Not only is Dr. Brown great with a casual and not intimidating bedside manner but his entire staff has been nothing but friendly and courteous. I fly out from San Francisco to work with him and am very pleased with my experience so far.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
