Staff very pleasant, professional, and helpful. I was impressed with Dr Patel. He is extremely pleasant and patient, taking the necessary time to explain his diagnosis and recommendations for resolution in language I can understand. Also appears very knowledgeable and thorough. Provided pros and cons of treatment options including wait and see how things develop before suggesting heart surgery. Felt very confident in his care and would recommend him to others. Did not examine me, his assistant did that, or ask if I needed any prescriptions, which I will now have to call for.

My dad is a Vietnam vet, on August 2nd the VA hospital told him he was going to need an open heart quadruple bypass, he was transferred to West Palm Gardens hospital and had his operation on August 8th with Dr. Patel. EVERYBODY told me my dad was in the best hands, that if they were going to pick a surgeon for their father Dr. Patel would be their first choice. Everybody on his team is incredible, when my dad was discharged they gave us Dr. Patel’s personal cell phone number and every time I contacted him I would receive a response within an hour or less. His assistant Leslie is amazing. I can’t say enough about Dr. Patel and his team.. they saved my dads life and I will forever be grateful to him and his team. Thank you Dr. Patel. You are saving people who aren’t even on your operating table.

Dr Patel is a total wizard when it comes to the heart. His vast knowledge and intricate techniques were on full display during my Oldman’s Mitral valve repair. Dr Patel was able to tune the Mitral chords in elegant harmony allowing for a perfect seal and 99% valve efficiency was restored. I Highly recommend this dude if you need heart surgery.

My husband had heart valve repair, done by Dr. Patel, and he is doing great! No complaints regarding Doctor Patel. He is a first-rate surgeon, excellent bedside manner, thoroughly explained procedures, listen/answer questions, caring, patient and kind. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his office staff. During my husband recovery in the hospital, I did not have far to go if I had any questions. I was always able to speak with Dr. Patel or Leslie. We would highly recommend him to anyone that need a Cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. Thank you.

I met Dr. Patel on Feb. 3rd at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, having been transferred there from Good Samaritan Hospital where it was determined that a catheterization could not be successfully completed. Dr. Patel assured me that I was a good candidate for by-pass surgery. That surgery was scheduled and completed on the evening of Feb. 9th. I spent the next five days in ICU. I cannot say enough good about the excellent care I received while in hospital. The attention paid me by Dr. Patel, P.A. Leslie Pena, and the nursing staff of the ICU was without parallel. It was professional, friendly, empathetic, and above all, caring. It was clear to me that my recovery was paramount in the minds and hearts of everyone I encountered. I was discharged on Feb. 15th. My post-operative visit with Dr. Patel and P.A. Pena was friendly, comprehensive, and informative. My sincere thanks to everyone with whom I interacted from Feb. 3rd through Feb. 15th. Surgery was very successful. Only problem was not receiving a return call after leaving a text on his emergency number. I then called the answering service a few days later on a Sunday and Dr Patel did call back within a few minutes. But if an emergency text may not get through because everybody is busy and nobody sees the text, please do not give it as an emergency contact.
