My issue is NOT with Dr Mathews. I have seen him for years but when the office "reschedules you" because he is not in the office but then you receive a letter of termination?? In June they called and stated, if it wasn't an emergency and everything was "ok" then they didn't want you to come in. We rescheduled for August. Last week they called and said Dr. Mathews wasn't going to be in the office so they needed to reschedule!! Today, I call and the rude triage nurse Jody, tells me since I didn't reschedule its an cancellation. She will not be quiet long enough to listen. All she says is I'm looking at your chart is ongoing....well guess you need better documentation especially when I only go every 6 months!! This is how our health care system works!! We are in for a rude awakening. Very disappointed in this practice!!!!!!!!!!! I have requested for the doctor to call me...doubt that happens!!

Dr Mathews and his entire staff are the best! I have been in Brandon many years & have never enjoyed the attention I have received from any other office I have had in the past as I have with this Dr and staff.

Dr Mathews and his staff are the best! His staff is friendly, kind, and attentive to detail. Dr Mathews is engaged in listening & resolving health issues & concerns. I highly recommend this office as the best in Brandon.

Dr Mathew is a Very good Dr. He takes his time and you don't feel rushed. He deserves at least four stars. However, his staff, (except Amber) makes too many mistakes. It's so bad I'm considering changing doctors. . They send me to wrong addresses. Forget to send orders, ie: blood scripts, X-ray etc. We all know a the staff is almost as important as the doctor

I would recommend Dr. Ron Mathew to anyone who needs a primary care physician. Dr. Mathew is professional and knowledgeable as he stays on top of the new medical material. The office staff is polite and professional. They set up any referral appointments and confirms your insurance will cover it. The appointments are not over booked in this office.

My husband had numerous major medical issues the past 1-1/2 years and Dr. Mathews has been on top of his needs all the way.....and provided the necessary referrals to specialists when needed. The meds prescribed are monitored well. His soft professional manner allows us time to ask questions regarding our concerns.during the office visits.
