Ruel Stoessel's Online Review Report Card

Absolutely amazing! I had my twin sons in March 2022 after a horrible pregnancy; preeclampsia, HG, unstable BP, etc. Late review because postpartum did its thing. Dr Stoessel and Dr Smith were a power team. Dr Stoessel seemed stoic, so not exactly a social butterfly or the doctor to be giddy or extra friendly. Still — He was absolutely polite and professional. That was great and enough for me! At each appointment and at EVERY stage, Dr Stoessel’s focus was OBVIOUS and it was always on: 1. Mom having a healthy baby as possible; 2. Informing patients of their options; the good, the bad, the ugly; 3. Baby & Mom’s health. Every single question or concern was addressed, thoroughly. And after I gave birth, Dr Stoessel came by to check in. The man finally seemed a bit more relaxed 😂 He stayed with us for like an hour (which was unexpected and unplanned, the conversation just kind of flowed better now that we were all free of the constant “what could go wrong with these babies and/or pregnancy?”). Dr Smith was great too — She was also very reassuring with all my pregnancy-related complaints. Lol If I was delusional enough to ever get pregnant (I’m neutered so thankfully might be hard —thank you Dr Smith!), I would absolutely choose Dr Stoessel and team. 10/10 would recommend. I would absolutely trust Dr Stoessel and team with my life and my kids’ life again. No questions, without a doubt. Old pic attached because I can’t make it to the office to show them our joint work; I baked ‘em, but Stoessel and team delivered & cared for them. lol.

Dr. Stoessel is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Also, a great person with the best of intentions for his patients. He delivered our baby girl and was there for my wife and I every step of the way!

My family and I needed a second opinion and prayed daily our diagnosis and prognosis would change for our little boy. However, our son had passed around the time of our visit. So Dr. Stoessel was the one who broke this devastating news. He was professional, he was caring, he was so kind. He explained possible causes and guided me through my questions with answers that helped me understand. If anyone has ever experienced a fetal/baby loss you know this is so painful. So to have a doctor and staff like Dr. Stoessel and his team was a blessing. Only one recommendation, maybe there could be a separate space mommy’s that just discovered they miscarried during the ultrasound? My family and I had to wait back in a waiting room full of pregnant happy mothers to be while we cried and waited to see the doctor… Privacy in that moment would have been so much appreciated.

I had my 20 week anatomy scan 3 weeks ago. Dr. Stoessel ended up not being in the office that day, but the office still completed my scan. I was told to expect a phone call back within 48 hours to go over my scan. Nobody called. I have left multiple messages with the office now, none of which have been returned. My ob-gyn has also been attempting to get my scan from the office to no avail. I have no idea if my pregnancy is progressing normally or if there are any problems or concerns that require follow-up. I've been in limbo for 3 weeks waiting for answers. I'm beyond frustrated with the unprofessional way my scan has been handled. I do want to say that the front office staff and ultrasound techs at the practice have been wonderful.

I was very well cared for by Dr. Stoessel and all his staff, this is my first pregnancy and my doctor referred me to them and I am truly grateful to all of them.

If you are having identical twins, I suggest you go to another specialist. I had signs of twin to twin transfusion syndrome for weeks before he referred me to a surgeon. Unfortunately my two girls did not make it.

Dr. Stoessel is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He is thorough, patient, and detail oriented. I was referred to him by my obstetrician and I highly recommend him. He’s very straightforward, honest and highly intelligent. Office staff is friendly and the appointments were always on time and well organized. Thank you so much!
