List of Rui P Cerejo's Reviews
I have been going to Dr Cerejo for many years. All Drs should be as wonderful as Dr Cerejo. He runs on-time 100 percent of the time. His bedside manner and knowledge is 100 percent! There aren’t enough gold stars to give Dr Cerejo! J Russek
Agree with the prior review about staff/policy at front desk. The office answers no phones before 9am, but appointments are scheduled at 8:15. A different address on Burns Rd. remains on the internet for the office address. I arrived 7 minutes late due to the address discrepancy after leaving a message with the answering service. The office lobby was completely empty, but the desk manager still refused to allow the appointment, ignored the explanation, said the address issue was Google's mistake. She curtly told the desk clerk to re-schedule. Had the lobby been full, this would have been understandable. Not even one person was waiting. There was no effort to check with the Dr. , no flexibility, just a curt refusal and lack of effort. There was also no effort to contact me for follow up on prior bloodwork or x-rays. As a new patient, this represented a lack of discretion and concern. I was happy with Dr. Cerejo, but the "gatekeepers" closed the gate on him. Searching for a new doctor.
Dr Cerejo is an excellent Dr with excellent listening skills and answering all concerns and questions.
Terrible office manager Vicky. Rude. Doesn't return calls. Bad with communication. Dr. Cerejo is great. Please hire someone else to run your office.
I saw Dr. Cerejo recently when I was referred by my PCP for several reasons. He spent some time with me, took a history, performed an exam and wanted to run some labs. He told me several times that he would "call me with the results of the labs and devise a plan." When I did not hear from him in over a month after the lab results were back, I finally called his office but had to call 4-5 times to finally get someone to talk to me. Vanessa, his MA, called me only to tell me he was referring me to a hematologist! No call from him directly as he promised. No plan. No offering an explanation as to why I'm having bilateral join pain. Nothing. I'm a medical provider as well, and I told Vanessa about my frustration in treating patients like this. I told her today (since he refused to talk with me) that I would find another provider who was interested in HELPING someone. VERY poor patient care.... I would give him a ZERO rating if I could...
HAD TO GIVE HIM A STAR, BUT WOULD TAKE THIS BACK IN A SECOND. HE AND HIS STAFF HAVE REFUSED TO TREAT MY FATHER WITH HIS QUARTERLY KNEE INJECTIONS BECAUSE HE WONT GET THE DEADLY VACCINE OR COVID TEST! SEE YOU IN COURT YOU QUACK!!!
This office deserves a 0 rating!! Dr Cerejo and his staff have denied my father treatment for his arthritic knees this month of October 2021. They have used 2 useless excuses. 1, that he had to be vaccinated or 2, that he had to have a negative Covid test. My Dad is vaxxed with HCQ, Vitamin D and Zinc, the ONLY APPROVED VACCINES by CDC! This office either doesn't understand the science or is getting paid to require vaccines, making them PAID ASSASINS! How incompetent can one office get???????
I arrived today at 8:52 am for a 8:45 am appointment. From behind a wall, the receptionist yelled that I was late for my appt. I explained that due to a road closure, I was late and apologized. She told me I had to reschedule. the nurse was walking out to take my temperature and she did an about face and left me there. I almost agreed but after thinking about it for a minute, I told her to forget it that I wouldn't be back. Several times in the past, they've kept me waiting and I've never complained. By the way, there was no one else in the waiting room. My procedure usually takes 5-7 minutes. I won't go back there without an apology. Dr. Cerejo is an excellent physician. It's too bad he has staff member that is so inconsiderate and rude.
While I have no experience with Dr. Cerejo personally, my review is based on the lack of flexibility the practice extends to its clients and its disregard for my time. My appointment was for 10:30 and I arrived at 10:15. My appointment was cancelled because I was not there at 10 to fill out my paperwork. Mind you, I had already filled out a great deal of paperwork at home (online as requested by Vicky) and returned to her the same day (all of my personal, health and insurance info - email pic below to prove it). Her excuse for cancelling the appt was that I needed to fill out the docs and she needed time to enter my info into the system! Why would you send me docs via email and have me return them signed???? Just doesn't make sense! Not only did I wait a long time for this appointment, but I missed a day of work! So, just based on this experience I would not recommend the practice.
I have been a patient with Dr. Cerejo for many years, driving over 80 miles to see him when I had moved to another city for work. I returned to West Palm Beach and continue to see him. He is an incredible diagnostician, when no one else could figure my disease out he did. He listens carefully to your concerns and works to find the best treatment modality. Unfortunately, his front office staff and MA were replaced a few years ago. The new group does not possess a caring demeaner. They can be rude, talk down to you and disregard your problems. I have on several occasions had to go to my PCP for help when his staff refused or was incapable of helping or allowing me to speak with him. I doubt he is aware of this. I am hopeful he will one day I would hate to discontinue going to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
