SCAM Artist... Only thinks about the Almighty Buck! Doesn't care about his patients I Remember him telling me he had several weddings and Bragged like he was so Special and we are nothing more than Poor people? He makes you feel as if you are Beneath him! He Loves to take on car accident victims just to collect the money because the payment is Guaranteed,!

I was operated on by Dr Katzman for a herniated disc. When i woke up, the back pain was worse than before. I was told by Dr Katzman that would be normal. After several weeks and another MRI which showed the herniation worse than before the surgery I decided to go to The Hospital for special surgery in NY and got appropriate treatment. I was told at that hospital that there was also now a fracture on my spine caused by the surgery of Dr Katzman and that I would need a fusion surgery. What’s worse than Dr. Katzman’s poor medical care was his uncaring attitude. After surgery he went back to Florida and it was difficult to get in touch with him again. I strongly recommend that you do not go to him. By the way, I am a physician. Please do not fall for this minimalist surgery baloney. Go to someone reputable. Also, do your research. Dr Katzman claims he is a nationally recognized expert. This is based on his own advertisement. It is fraudulent.

I’ve had two surgeries with this practice which also goes by a new name. Dr Katzman was so pose to take care of me but for some reason I was referred over to Dr Douglas Slaughter instead. My story is much more than this comment, my story belongs in a court of law explaining how Dr Douglas Slaughter destroyed my life via surgery I’ve been trying to contact the practice specifically Dr Katzman who was so pose to take care of of me however for some reason he will not respond nor will Dr Slaughter his last comments were “ go to pain management I’m certainly not going to perform anymore surgery on you I can’t help you”. I should have dug deeper into Dr Douglas, it was only after the damage was done that I found out via a patient sent me newspaper articles of damage he did to other patients which were publicized from another state. The only communication I’ve received was a voicemail from someone claiming to be the CEO, he left me a voicemail saying, this never should have happened nobody should have to live with this kind of pain, what can we do for you? I listen to it every so often I have tried to contact him back but no response. This practice needs to be ACCOUNTABLE for their actions they’ve ruined my back and caused pain that I can barely live with. Dr Slaughter and Dr Katzman, I cannot imagine how you live with yourselves how you sleep at night. I cannot sleep more than an hour without waking up with incredible pain that drives me insane. I am married with children and grand children who I cannot enjoy because of the quality of life that drastically changed after my last surgery. I was wheelchair bound immediately after surgery, it made no sense according to Dr Slaughter my PT and more. THIS PRACTICE IS DANGEROUS in my opinion. It’s disgraceful the fact that they make a commitment and the leave you to suffer!! H Al Kalish

Please do your research, as I did not. Dr. Katzman has 11 medical malpractice lawsuit payouts filed against him, including three which resulted in patient deaths. He operated on me for my fractured coccyx, but the pain problem was actually a tight/strained ligament which the coccyx was pulling on. He did not listen, as during surgery he cut this ligament and pinned it up higher, causing me even more pain...a daily level 10-12 pain. I am being pulled from my surgery site to my sphincter. He even admitted to me why I would feel that, as he had to tie it higher. And the ligament also pulls on the posterior wall of my female parts, as confirmed by a doctor of physical therapy. My doctor of pt has also found bulbous and spongy masses on the ligament after surgery, suggesting swelling, 6 months post op., and she said that the ligament is so rigid it cant be stretched or fixed through pt. A knowledgable surgeon would have just lifted it away from the coccyx, not cut it. Trust me, constant rectal pain and pulling while walking/standing 24/7 is no way to live. I cant even sit. I am bedridden from pain most of the time. Dr. Katzman made me so much worse, exacerbating my previous pain and bowel problems, and giving me new unrelenting pain. Do not let this man operate on you. He promised to call me 4 months ago with a fix. He said he would call back in an hour...4 months ago. Over the last 6 months I have repeatedly called Dr. Katzman's office. The last couple of months I have called almost daily. I am always promised a call back. He cares nothing about his patients, only money. He has never called me to check on me or correct his mistake. Also Google articles on Florida doctors who have gotten around the 3 strikes law, and the top 25 Florida doctors who have paid out the most in medical malpractice suits. He is named in both articles. I am still waiting for his phone call. This is filed under my husband's name, as I have no yelp account.

The wait time is HORRIBLE! The administrative staff are nasty! I waited more than 2 hours and was not seen. This is not acceptable at all! I would NOT recommend going here.

Dr. Katzman is excellent and have recommended him to several coworkers and friends with similar issues that I had.

This guy should not have a medical license. It was an obvious scam and fraud in 2015 in Palm Beach, Fl when I went to him for a second opinion. I left his office horrified at what I saw. I returned to Ft Lauderdale and had epidural shots performed by a competent Dr. Now he has relocated in another state. Do yourself a favor and do your homework when researching a Dr.

Dr. Katzman was the only Dr that went the extra mile to help me and not just tell me what they thought I wanted to hear. V. lucas
