Terrence O'brien's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Terrrnce P.O.O’Brien MD is an excellent Doctor kind, takes his time and explain the conditions of the eyes. I was very lucky to find him and I have all the confidence in him. He deserves the five stars.

I could only say he is t to the worst doctor. I saw him for 20 years. I have a eye disease, I needed a Partial cornea transplant. He did it in June of 2021. I still could not see out of the eye in October. I went to see him, he said u r doing great. Go down and a script for glasses. I showed him I could not open my eye. When u make an appointment with him you sit for at least eight hours. He sees you for the most ten minutes. His staff are rude, and give you wrong information. The doctor never calls you back. He has Fellows that call you back, always with the wrong. Information I would not take my dog to see him. He is in Bascom and Palmer in PGa

Dr. O'Brien and Bascom Palmer have provided me superior care for over 5 years now, and my recent cataract surgery went smoothly and extremely well, even though I was a challenging case. You should have total confidence entrusting your eye care to this excellent facility, as Dr. Greenfield is just as expert at his specialty (glaucoma) as Dr. O'Brien is at his. They are the best physicians I have ever dealt with after living in NY, Boston, San Francisco, and FL.

Everyone from staff to Nurses to Dr. O’ Brien were top notch. I would give 10 stars if I could. His bedside manner was incredible.

Dr. O'Brien performed successful cataract surgery on my eyes, which required his skills because they were a challenging case. He cautiously guided me through the procedure as we conditioned my damaged eyes for surgery, and then he did a magnificent job on the operation to the point where my vision is 20/20 in both eyes. I went to Bascom Palmer specifically for such expertise, as previous Ophthalmologists had warned me that my eyes would present big problems as they aged. I got the best eyecare in the world, and I strongly recommend both Dr. O'Brien and this marvelous facility.

I had been wearing glasses and contacts for almost 20 years, he fixed my eyesight and now I have better than 20/20 vision! Thank you Dr. O’Brien! He is a very caring person, great doctor, careful listener and all around excellent at what he does! I would totally recommend him and his work to anyone. :)

Dr. O'Brien is compassionate, kind, considerate and very professional. He skillfully performed corneal transplant surgery required to repair damage caused during cataract surgery performed by a different surgeon at a different facility.

Dr. O'Brien did not listen to my requests and provided a cataract surgery that left me with worse overall vision than before the surgery. When complaints arose he shifted me off to an associate (I assume since the person was never introduced) to deal with the fall out. Since my eyes are complicated I thought that Bascom Palmer would provide excellent assessment of my specific needs. Instead I had to keep reminding providers of my diagnoses. I can only assume they didn't look at the assessments done previous to my meeting with Dr. O'Brien that contained important information. Some specifics; I waited 3 hrs for my appointments, not just the first visit, but every visit. This can only be poor planning, After surgery I was given medication whose first side effect was increased eye pressure. This even though I have glaucoma and there were other medications available. My eye pressure became higher than ever before. I do not recommend Dr. O'Brien or B-C for quality care/
