Extremely knowledgeable and personable geneticist. He specializes in Connective Tissue genetics and also genetics medication testing. He has made an amazing positive difference in the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome community

Dr. Atwal is amazing! He is so knowledgeable in genetic diseases especially Ehlers Danlos a Connective Tissue Disease and the co-occurring diseases that go with it like POTS, Dysautonomia, & Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. It was so easy to book an appointment and quick too . I was able to book an appointment in 2 weeks from when I inquired. I really appreciate that there were not 9 months waits and I did not have to fly out of state.He provided me with a care plan to follow and if it didn't work to let him know so he could provide me something else. He is so easy to talk to, it's also really nice to be validated and because I was able to get answers quickly ai was able to start getting the care ai needed. Dr. Atwal is the BEST GENETIC DOCTOR. BTW He sees patients in office or by telemedicine and as someone in pain I am grateful I didn't have to ride in a care or lease the comfort of my home.

I have seen so many specialists trying to figure out why my medical issues have been increasing/changing; all of whom thought the issues were not related or were unable to decipher what was happening. Dr. Atwal actually listened and was able to explain to me how the issues were related and what was happening, and provided an accurate diagnosis. I really liked his set up for telemedicine, it was a great option for those living in rural areas.
