Asked to assist Dr. Dodd in removing a deeply imbedded fishhook from my foot Dr. Wood cleverly compressed the barb and backed out the hook which saved me from a painful cut off and push through procedure. And I got the hook back in one piece.

He gave a great first impression. Scheduled follow labs after our er visit. Left us without any follow up. We had to go back to the er and start over. Not cool when you are 92 and bleeding doc. Not cool at all

I found Dr. Wood to be empathetic, professional and thorough. By listening to the process of my illness rather than just treating the presenting problem, a valid diagnosis and solution was found. I am from out of town and the treatment/caring I received from Dr. Wood was as if he was my primary care doctor for years.

I saw Dr Wood in the ER AT MARTIN SOUTH. His Bedside manner was above reproach. I wish he had an office instead of the ED room. I'd want him to be my PCP. He's definitely a keeper.

Around October of 2021 my dear friend (female, 39 years old), was terribly and mysteriously sick . After visiting emergency rooms multiple times, she was fortunate to finally be examined by Dr wood at Cleavland Clinic Martin South emergency room. He suspected anti nmda receptor encephalitis at the time, which is a frightening and rare condition where the immune system attacks the brain. He was correct, and thanks to Dr wood's awareness and wisdom, the diagnosis was made early. She has recovered and is doing great! The world should be filled with Doctors like Dr wood.

I strongly think this is a doctor who cares for us patients. I immediatly noticed that he seemed to be very busy and have many patients. Considering, I think he did an exellent job at making me feel comfortable in such a fast pace enviroment. Obviously one could not expect an emergency visit to be perfect. However, it was a successful trip to the emergency room, and I am very confident in his treatment options.

He walks out the door and you instantly hear him talking to other staff belittling and derogatory comments about you. Made me feel like I was stupid for being at the doctors office.
