Came here at 4:34 was turned away because they stopped taking walkins an hour before. Why advertise open until 5?

Made an appointment/reservation last week for same day visit. Check in with Melissa was easy. Melissa claimed those who have appointments take priority and advised the number of patients ahead of me. 2.5 hours later individuals who arrived after me were called back before me. Melissa advised two staff members were pulling charts and she saw mine, but someone pulled another person's chart. Fortunately, I was called next. Ashley called me back and was quick with the assessment. Escorted to a room I waited for NP Matey who was patient, listened, and I felt well cared for. Tests administered on site and prescription medications sent to local pharmacy. Sammy was pleasant during check out process. While staff are friendly and patient care is positive, this is the second time I made an appointment/reservation and waited 2+ hours to be seen. I acknowledge there was only one provider both times but install a notification system to email/text patients where they are in the queue. I confirmed those with appointments/reservations did not take priority because those without a reservation were called back before me. Please set a policy one way or the other.

My wife had been feeling ill for a few days and we made an appointment here. They did explain that they were short staffed and we finally were led to our room after about an hour and 45 minute wait (an hour after our appointment time). Ashley took us to the back and was not fun to deal with. She was bossy to both of us and borderline rude. It turned out that my wife had COVID for the first time and the NP wanted to do some more tests to rule out any other problems. Again, we had to deal with Ashley and she was not forthcoming with any information and appeared to actually not like us. Where did common respect and understanding go in our society? It takes no more effort to be kind than it does to be ill-mannered. Why can't people just be nice? The rest of the staff was very professional.
