My mother in law was released the other day from Advent Hospital in Palm Coast Florida. She had a Biopsy performed on a mass in her Gall Bladder. The results of the needle biopsy was inconclusive, with "no obvious cancer" (GI surgeon's words). Well, those results were known on 12/29/22. Yet, when Dr. Roche released my 84 year old mother in law to rehab on 12/30/22 he made no mention of the biopsy findings, and when we obtained a copy of my mother in law's medical records, 10 days later, under the DISCHARGE notes he put "Diagnosis-Gall Bladder Cancer". TWO sources told the family that it would be Dr. Roche who would tell us the results. I had to go on a hunt by calling LABS to find out where the results were. it took 9 business days to find out (biopsy was done on 12/26). I would never recommend him to anyone,

Dr. Roche cared for me recently when I was a patient at WRMC. He was always available and came to see several times, not just once on rounds, but anytime there were questions or problems he came to my room and didn't just give orders over the phone. Always answered my and my husband's questions throughly. Too bad he only sees inpatients. He's a great doctor!
