John Symeonides's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Symeonides was helpful for my particular problem. However, his Office Manager was intolerable. She made appointments for me which were not warranted, and she was rude to me on several occasions. Because I went to a hematologist for help with a blood condition instead of to Dr. Symeonides, she terminated me as a patient, and her office refused to renew two needed medical prescriptions. My advice is, stay away from this office.

I have read some of the negative reviews about doctor John, I personally don’t understand them. The doctor, the office, the nurses etc. have been absolutely wonderful!! The office manager is so nice and easy to talk to, as are everyone working in the office. Dr. John is compassionate and kind, non judgmental and listens to everything that I had to say. I went home and thanked God I found him! I’m not sure went some of these people expect from their doctor, but I surely don’t understand why anyone could give them a negative review, to each his/her own I guess.

Great Doctor but staff has a lot to say. They need to be held accountable for not getting prescription filled in a timely manner

Your billed for No Shows , but there is no reguards for your time . If this is your doctor and you work during the week you will probally lose yoyr job due to the ling waits or the doctors not showung up or other very poorly run office with high turn over rate

I have been seeing this doctor for ten years. He one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He takes his time with each patient and makes sure he covers every issue you have. He is a GREAT doctor. However, his staff makes it almost unbearable to go there. They NEVER and I mean never answer the phone in the clinical nursing area. You, your pharmacist or another doctor can leave as many messages as you want, no return calls happen unless you insist the operator transfer you to a person. When you leave your appointments, they say they will call in your prescriptions in within 48 hours but they never do. I have to call at least 75% of the time to just them to do that. They do not order samples that the doctor wants you to try even if you don't get them one month, you go back and they still don't have them. This problem is not only with the current staff, it is an ongoing supervision problem as the staff has turned over several times since I have been going there. Billing is also a huge problem to say the least. I literally love the Doctor and his PA, but I am looking for another doctor because I can no longer deal with the incompetence of the staff.

If you want to be treated as if you were lest than a human being by his staff than by all means go but if you want to be treated with respect I suggest going elsewhere.

Very happy with the care I am receiving and have brought my whole family to see Dr Symeonides. Highly recommend this doctor to all. He is a skilled and experienced clinician with a very caring manner.

Wait time no less than 1 hour from time appointment scheduled for - most of the time is 2-3 hours. Doctor routinely shows up in the morning 45-60 minutes after his first scheduled appointment. Treats his patients like they are idiots and like they have no clue about their own condition. Talks to you 6 inches from your face. Never once has apologized for being late. Very disrespectful.

Doctor is very knowledgeable and takes the time to discuss care with patients. Yes there may be a wait but that is only because he spends more time than necessary with each patient. Staff very friendly and accurate. Not sure what changes were made but definitely going I the right direction. My last appointment wait time from check in to check out was 45 minutes. I will recommend to anyone looking for a new primary care office!!!
