MIchael Davis's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Davis has been our kids pediatrician for 5 or so years now and he is wonderful! I see a lot of others talking about how hard it is to get in his office and tbh, it’s never been hard besides a sickness being during a holiday or weekend which is normal and we would take them to urgent care if it was bad enough! He has an amazing bedside manner, is very down to earth and communicates extremely well with our children and us! He always addresses our concerns and if we need referred out we have had great results with those doctors as well. His staff has always been great and Lori, at the front desk, who has been there since we became patients is efficient and awesome whenever I speak with her! Highly recommend Dr.Davis!

Dr Michael davis is so wonderful and great he so well and understanding when i ask him questions of my concerns with my children he never come in with a mad face his whole staff is wonderful and miss Lori is so kind with so much love I recommend anybody who have kids to go here.

I love this office, yeah sometimes they are behind or someone could have an off day because they're busy but that's anybody! We all get that way! He always knows what to do to help my kids, Lori ALWAYS gets my kids in SAME DAY of being really ill or having some issue going on making them feel really bad. I sometimes they run behind but that happens being in a doctors office. I worked in one so I would know. And with my 1st born I seen Verdeflor across the street and he was horrible, so rude and doesn't listen always called my first child fat(she's heavier) but you do not call people straight up fat and tell parents they're doing a bad job...come to find out now she has a health issue. Anyways, this office is great, once your in the back you're in and out very quickly!!great service.

If your child is ever sick and you call this place they tell you it’s over a week before they can get you in. Thanks Dr. Davis, but my two year olds chest cold could turn into pneumonia by then. Centra care is great though, just wish there was a half decent pediatrician in Palm Coast that was easier to get a sit down with than the President.

Like many of the comments I seen with this office. It is a racial issue. My mother usually takes my son to him because of my work schedule. So when I finally met him for the first time last week, trying to let him know that my son had diarrhea, a high fever and itching from the rotation of trying to tame his fever then, after his diarrhea turned into him not using the “#2” at all. I made an appointment with him after taking him to the ER. The woman with the blonde hair should not be a receptionist. Why would you schedule 3 people all at the same time , THEN I waited a hour in the office to get to the back. ONCE in the back, im trying to express my concerns for my son because he is always seeing him every couple months regarding the same issues and he NEVER found a proper solution to this issue since seeing him last year. Being a black person and sometimes POC is hard enough in palm coast but when trying to find a good doctor who listens and does not brush off your concern’s about YOUR CHILD, but actually want to work together to find solutions for the betterment of your child’s health is a rare thing to happen in this area. Him and Dr. Vincent G. Verdeflor are the WORST PEDIATRICIANS IN PALM COAST. So, if your reading this and considering going to their practice , please don’t because they will not help your children. For the reviews that say that he is great, was someone like “him” and that speaks for itself.

At first he was ok. He was recommended by a few of my (Caucasian) clients when I moved out here from palm coast. We are a mixed family (hispanic/AA) and it seemed like he preferred dealing with ppl of his own race. Didn’t take us serious at all. Brushed us off whenever we visited. I asked for referrals several times for my autistic child never got them had to do it on my own. I don’t even know how ppl trust him with their children. Worst pediatrician ever!!!! Do not recommend at all.

Michael F. Davis is dishonest, unethical and willfully negligent. He falsifies medical records and avoids ethical responsibility to make his day easier. Avoid this man. In my experience he is a danger to children. Neglect is abuse.

My review is based on attempting to become a patient at this office, I have not met the pediatrician or been in the office. I used my Advent patient portal to find a pediatrician near our new home. We are established Advent patients with another pediatrician not that far away, but in another city. I wanted to establish my children at the local office here and the Advent portal showed Dr. Davis as the closest pediatrician. Their own website states he was accepting new patients- mind you, I’m not sure we would be considered new patients, as we just usually go to a different location. I saw the option to pick a virtual or in-person appointment time. I chose 2 virtual appointment times for my teenaged daughters. Under the ‘reason for your visit’ area, I typed that I wanted to get established with this pediatrician, make an appt for an HPV vaccine, and discuss birth control options. This evening, which is the night before the early morning appointments, I received a voicemail stating they are not taking new patients, they do not do virtual appointments, and Dr. Davis “does not do birth control.” She said she was cancelling our appointments three times in the voicemail. It said to call back if I had questions. I called the number on the voicemail, it was a non working number. So I Google the office to get the office number, and they closed at noon today, I was directed to an automated message when I called. I’m not sure why they called me outside of their own business hours, or why they would say to call back, if it’s impossible for me to return the call before their appointment time in the morning to clarify why they canceled it. I was surprised by the communication I received on my voicemail. I was never emailed new patient paperwork, so I assumed they saw my children in the system already; they never called to verify their names, or insurance info- I received nothing prior to this voicemail. I’m not sure why the website states he’s accepting new patients or offers virtual appointments during a pandemic if those are incorrect too. Furthermore, I felt that the statement about birth control was odd and unprofessional. As a primary care provider, discussing birth control options is well within the scope of practice of a pediatrician who sees patients until they are adult aged. They offer vaccines against STDs, and birth control is used for more than just preventing pregnancy. I didn’t ask for a prescription for birth control pills, an implantable birth control device, or a pelvic exam for my teens- I asked for a discussion of birth control options because I’m a realistic mom, who works in health care, and expected possible suggestions, and maybe a referral to someone “who does do birth control.” Birth control should be a conversation pediatricians have with their teenage patients, in my opinion, and birth control should be more accessible to anyone who wants it. I think we will continue driving to another city to see the pediatrician we already have.

From birth Dr Davis treated my granddaughters up until we moved from Palm Coast! He’s the best you’ll ever find! Super great with kids….and parents!! Love this guy! Wish we still had him! Highly recommend!!
