This MD performed a nephrectomy on my father. He doesn’t apparently have standing post op care orders for his patients pain management. Then had the audacity to have an attitude when he was paged to correct the situation.I could state numerous other complaints about the quality of care, by him and Palm Coast Advent Hospital. The two stars is more than generous.
Carlos Rivera - 10/9/23 On my first appointment with Dr Regan I was very impressed when he explained my condition and course of treatment. Dr Regan is extremely knowledgeable and I noticed that he truly cares for his patients. I had surgery on 9/12/23 with Drs Regan and Bower. I was blessed and really grateful for having both as part of my team. Also, I'm grateful for the kindness received from the staff in office and at the Surgery Center. Blessings to all and thanks.
Dr. Regan has a great "bedside manner". He is always so kind and thoughtful. He is very thorough when explaining the course of treatment. He's extremely knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients. I'm grateful to have him as part of my team of doctors.
Thank you Advanced Urology for your care. My visit to the emergency room for my first ever kidney stone was on APRIL 13th 2023. Calling the office 2-3 times to schedule my follow up appointment I was told that they would call me when they received the referral. Well they finally called me today, JUNE 12th, 2023, and all she kept saying was we just got the referral. No apology, no suggestion of looking into it. Nothing! I am beyond upset. I had to give 1 star to post but none are deserved. Addendum: I would like to say that my review is not a reflection of Dr Regan's medical expertise. He treated my mother and gave her excellent care. His staff is not doing their job and it unfortunately reflects on him.
Extremely unprofessional
Uncaring
I cannot say a kind word about Dr. Regan. He was recommended to me by a friend. I had a good conversation with this friend and thought this might be a good dr. Boy was I so wrong. He treated me so differently and dismissed all my concerns. I had an upcoming appt in April and he canceled on me. So I was rescheduled, I had to cancel the appt due to a family member being sick, so I rescheduled.I missed that appointment because I had forgotten and was out of town. When my notification came up 2 days before the second appt I called and canceled right away so they would have time to fill that slot. After that, I said I would like to try to reschedule sometime in Sept. Well, that never happened. I tried calling back several times and left several messages with no return call. I then received a letter telling me I was dismissed as his patient. WT Oh my goodness. It seems to me if you do not come every three months even if you are well this office is not happy. I do understand having a follow up, but if you have been well for a long period of time you would think the office would say "Call us if you need us" but not this office they need the money train constantly moving. I will be calling the board on this office. There are just some drs that need to STOP practicing they have lost the zeal for care.
I was admitted from the ER for a severe infection and stone. The morning after I was admitted God sent an angel to my room named Dr. Regan, who when he first walked in had this look on his face that made me think oh great, I got a not so nice urologist, but after he started explaining what was going on and how sick I was, I quickly realized that look was actually concern. He mentioned that he was not notified by the ER the day before when I was admitted and said he would have come then. He treated me like a person not just a patient. In my opinion he saved my life due to how he quickly got me in the OR! I can’t thank you enough Dr Regan for everything! Thank you for doing all you do and treating patients as people. You’re the best!!!
Doctor Reagan and his staff are amazing and wonderful. I have high anxiety and the staff and doctor were really good at putting me at ease. I appreciate the hard work that they do. I was really impressed by everything that happened. I really feel that the doctor is committed to our whole health.
After two months of calls with their staff who might I add never call you back, finally was able to make an appt. with Dr. Regan for my aged 90 yr.old mother. I received an email stating we had an appt. The Day before the appointment In Daytona after making the appt. In Palm Coast FL. I called them and a woman who worked there said yes you have the appt. At 3:45 pm in PC. We went to the office were there early there were many people waiting. I was told she’d have at least an hour wait. The girl at the desk said we didn’t have an appt. I told her it had been confirmed the day before. Karin I assume a manager came out and asked me and my aged mother to go with her and said we had an appt. In Daytona!! I specifically made the appt. In PC to not have to travel 45 mins. This is without doubt one of the very most incompetent office staff I’ve ever encountered. She said she’d call with another appt. Within the week. Let’s just see if that happens???? I realize Drs have busy schedules and so do we.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
