You will be bounced around to different practioners so care inconsistent find out later dr or NP didn't note what you really talked about. Stay away save your sanity.

As a former patient I would not go back or refer anyone to this Dr. I was asked to re use an breathing treatment mask at future visits. The wait times are outrageous. I have been misdiagnosed by Dr. Schlau. The staff is rude and non caring. I also have a big issue with the big turnover of Drs. Dr Schlau was my original dr at this practice then he pushed me to NPs and when I wanted to see a real dr and see him, I was told I was considered a new patient to him and would have to wiat months to see him. Then I was told he wasn't accepting new patients even though he was the Dr on my insurance card.

I have never in my life had a doctor spend more than 5 min of his or her time with me. This practice is genuinely concerned for my happiness & MOST importantly my health!

Dr Schlau would not authorize an additional 8 weeks of physical therapy for me. I was in a lot of pain and could not move my arm toward my back. He said Humana would not ok it. I called Humana and they said that I could have gotten it had he requested it. My Orthopedic sent him a referral for 8 weeks and the therapist agreed since the therapy was helping. Since I am in an HMO my primary physician has to ok it. I am self paying for therapy because of him.
