Arthritis Associates's Online Review Report Card

The Dr is very nice but the staff I dealt with August thru September of 2022 were less than helpful and had no empathy. They refused to call my insurance company for a prior authorization, I made the request per my insurance company. My insurance needed the Dr's office to call them. The woman spent 30 minutes on the phone with me telling me she didn't have time to call the insurance company. In that 30 minutes she could have called. And told me she would do her best to call them. Do your best? I was in severe pain and trying to get answers. I had my mri done in October of 2022, nobody called me to follow up. I had to reach out to them this past week. I dreaded calling them due to the rude staff I had previously encountered. It took 2 months to get this mri approved between the Dr and the insurance. The Dr's office would not help me. The rude woman I spoke to last September did not accurately notate my file regarding my conversations and requests.

Do your home work - ask questions - what is her approach- Dr Shetty will not return your call and after 4 letters I wrote to her asking her to call me still I haven’t heard from her -5-6 months later- letters were sent with delivery confirmation - the staff is rude and not nice at all- follow up - there is none

Dr. Chawla was very thorough and personable. He was not in any rush. He spent a great deal of time with my husband and I asking questions, answering questions and providing us with information. Looking forward to future visits with him.

Outstanding practice. Took me 2 yrs to find Doc Shetty, I had been staggering thru this odyssey of an illness with two other doctors never with positive results. I immediately had good vibes from her, she’s honest, upfront and proactive. A real professional that not only treats but listens to you as the patient for consideration in treatment. (Sometimes she has to push me a few times to get me to follow her directions! Which I need..) I’ve never felt like I’m just a number at Arthritis Associates, bonus is you get that same honest, helping and knowledgeable character with the entire office staff. My mother loved seeing Dr.Chawla- he was very thorough with her and listened intently. She loved talking with him and joking with him. He is the only doctor she has that showed they really cared. My mother recently passed and I’m forever grateful for his care with/of her.

Absolutely horrible. I received a call at 4 o clock the night before my appointment letting me know they couldn't keep my infusion appointment because they couldn't get a hold of my doctor. They acted like this was not their fault, but failed to even call me to let me know they needed a new order until they had to call me to cancel my appointment the night before. Completely disgusting and horrible practice and now I get to just be sick and miss my appointment I made 2 months ago. Called my doctor and told them to send the order to a new infusion center. Thanks.
