Brian Hale's Online Review Report Card

I was seen because I’ve been having a stomach issue for over a year been to multiple GI’s and they pointed me in the direction of a urologist as they found a stone (not moving) that might be causing illness. I have a complex medical and surgical history. This guy walked in didn’t address the reason I was there until the THIRD time I brought it up. He was on his laptop scheduling surgical procedures within 30 seconds of entering the room. He continued to just say what I NEEDED to do which is a huge NO in the medical field and red flag for any doctor. They don’t KNOW anything for certain and they certainly should not be using verbiage like what I NEED to do and what WE ARE GOING TO DO within 2 minutes of walking in the room and not even knowing me. This guy is just trying to burn and turn out patient surgeries for a cash grab he looks close to retirement. Avoid this physician at all costs.

If i could give a lower rating I would. My husband went here for his prostate exam which went fine. Fast forward to this month our PCP told my husband his kidney numbers were high, and he needed to go somewhere to have his CKD treated. We asked for a referral and this location was on the list. We call make the appointment I SPECIFICALLY stated it was for CKD NOT prostate. He goes to the appointment today pays the $80.00 co pay and gets back with the Dr for Dr Hale to say I don't treat CKD you're in the wrong place. But while your here let's set up another appointment for your prostate. My husband calls me, and I stated you need to get the $80.00 back since you were not treated for anything or looked at for anything we can call and make an appointment over the phone. Dr Hale refused and said i consulted you about your next prostate exam so you will not be getting the money back. While we are not poor, we are self-employed and this was a lot of money for us to just throw away. I figured the Dr would have done the admirable thing and returned the money. But I was wrong.

Dr. Hale is great. Unfortunately, I had a lot of challenges with some of the other staff. Ultimately, I switched to a different doctor.

Nice enough, but they charge another 90.00 (office visit cost) to get your results from a test. Very disappointed

Upon arrival for scheduled annual exam, I was told Dr. Hale would not accept my Baycare Insurance for visit. During prior visit one year earlier, I had given staffer both my new insurance card for file and my previous card during that visit. I cancelled rescheduled appointment with him, and was fortunate to find a 5 Star (20 Ratings) Urologist who values patient health first vs patient health insurer.

Dr. Hale is very knowledgeable, and did an amazing job with my surgery.

has no bedside manner and rude to patients. Did not treat my brother well ! if he did not want to see my brother he should have said so instead of treating him so rude. Needs to come down from his pedestal. There are plenty of other doctors that would have more compassion.

Dr. Brian Hale is an excellent Urologist, with very good surgical skills. He is very knowledgeable, and will answer all of your questions.

Male with multiple UTI symptoms at Dr. Hale afternoon, Nov. 21st. Specimen positive for blood. No treatment for UTI symptoms, handed script to make a lab appointment for further testing. Told to come back on Monday, Nov. 28 after Thanksgiving Holiday. Don't Urologist practices send specimens out themselves or at the very least had the patient take specimen right then to the lab 2 miles from office so Dr. could get results quickly. 7 more days suffering unnecessarily. Test was UTI positive.
