List of Cynthia Roever's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Roever for the last 5 years and I can say that I she is by far the best primary care physician I have ever had. She really knows her medicine, she listens extremely well and works with you to address any issues you may have. More importantly Dr Roever really cares about her patients. I cannot recommend highly enough.
I am not a patient of Dr. Roever but after waiting for 3 months with an appointment to start seeing her as a new patient I got a call a few days before the appointment saying she is no longer taking new patients. I had already sent her all my previous medical records, etc. Very unprofessional. It should have been stated from the beginning if she was unable to accept me as a patient. Instead I wasted time with no PCP and then had to find someone new after the cancellation!
Horrible customer service. 3 weeks before my appointment (that I made several months ago) I get a text saying Dr Roever isn't taking new patients? Why not tell me that months ago when I made the appointment? Now I have to start the process all over again. Just awful.
I would say this review is more for the practice in general. If you look at the administrative reviews they have under 3 stars. I called to switch to a new doctor in that office - I have been a patient of theirs for 3-4 years. They said they had to check to see if I could switch (which is weird because I work in medicine and I know the patient can choose their provider??) anyways - they told me that no one was accepting new patients. I asked to speak to an office manager. No one ever called me back. In the past I had put a call or two with questions to the Doctor or their nurse - no one calls back. The communication at this office needs to improve to keep patients.
Dr. Roever has been our family doctor for several years. But the office has just taken a nose dive. My husband had bloodwork done in the office Thursday, went in yesterday (Mon) for his results. He took with him his clinic results (which can be easily found on our insurance website), He was escorted out of the office by a not so pleasant office supervisor and told him he would not be allowed back without a COVID (long test!)! He mentioned the word bronchitis and that did it! ( He is on antibiotics and prednisone ). Ron tried several places for a COVID test (Bay Care clinics, walk-in clinics not covered by insurance: cost $400! Is this a caring family office??? He tried to call and was given a recording saying that he had a 40 minute phone wait! Dr. Roever, you have broken our hearts and our faith in you! BTW-this is our 3rd complaint to you about your office. We are seriously looking for another PCP.
I made an appt in May and it was set for end of August. Got a call today canceling appointment Next available new patient is for January 2023. I planned on getting drugs refilled and now I am out of luck. This is no way to treat a person! No help in any way. Who can wait 8 months to be seen by a doctor. So disappointed and saddened to be treated this way. Im done with Advent Health Care.
Excellent
I have been with Doctor Roever for several years. Dr. Roever is excellent in all areas. I trust her to watch over my health. She does...
Dr Roever is very professional. She listens and answers all questions and concerns. I have never felt rushed. She is up to date on current treatment options.
If you are the kind of patient that wants the doctor to take complete charge of your medical care without your input, Dr. Roever is perfect for you. But if you feel you should be a partner in the decisions made about your body and care, you might want to look elsewhere. Whatever you do, don't disagree with her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
