Beware: If there was a zero option here for number of stars - I would select it. My father just passed after a six and half year journey with colon cancer. Dr. Eric A. Steckler conducted his colonoscopy procedure in June of 2016 and told him all was clear and good to go. Just over three months later in October of 2016, dad started hemorrhaging and we discovered he had a 3cm apple shaped tumor in the center of his transverse colon. Every do it or at our cancer center agreed this just doesn’t grow in three months- obviously. Clearly a huge failure on the doctor’s part and quite sad. Though I cannot bring my father back, I do hope this review helps even just one person avoid anything like we have endured because of an oversight/ failure like this.

This doctor isn't very astute at diagnosis. He took about 4 months to realize I had gallstones and all the signs pointed to it from the very beginning. I was in pain for too long.

The procedure was a piece of cake. It's the prep that's the worst part of it but it's worth it. I had my 1st colonoscopy at age 50. Dr. Steckler found 3 polyps and one precancerous. If I had pushed it off for a year or more I would of had cancer. My advice is to go when recommended and have Dr. Steckler do the procedure. Mario

Dr. doesn't spend enough time with you, always in a rush. He doesn't answer all your questions and you have to talk to his dumb nurse, who gets everything wrong.
