I have four children and each one is different. She knows each of them for who they are and spends the time needed to address any issues. She tells it like it is, which sometimes is hard, but she ALWAYS puts my kids health first, and to me that’s everything. I’m so glad a friend recommended I take my kids to see her!

Dr. Sawka has been our pediatrician for @ 14 years. We lucked out when we found her! I wouldn't trust another soul with my daughters medical care. She is, hands down, the best pediatrician in the area. If she isn't available, Dr. Black in the same practice is also remarkable. We've never had a bad experience with this practice.

Dr Sawka has been taking care of our kids since they were born. She provides excellent top notch care and I would highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for an excellent pediatric doctor. We drive from Spring Hill to her office everytime, not because we can't find a doctor in our area but because we can't find one that can match her level of expertise and provide the care and attention to detail that she does. For our family it's worth the 90 minute drive.

Both my kids see Dr. Sawka. We all think she's the best. She listens without judgement and asks all the right questions. She takes the time to explain what we don't understand. We all feel comfortable talking to her about anything. With kids, that especially important. We trust and respect her. Great office staff as well.

Dr. Sawka saw my entire family for years, until my children became adults and could no longer use a pediatrician . We only wish she could treat adults too!! My children were born with a vast range of medical issues and their was not one condition we encountered that she did not know exactly what to do , or who to refer us to. Anytime we were referred to a specialist Dr. Sawka made sure she kept in touch with that specialist and always knew what was going on. She remembered every little detail about my children, even asking them questions about their personal interests and current events. She will speak with you as a fellow Mother and Doctor, always make time for you, always patient with my children and my husband and myself. She is a brillant , modern doctor, with a good old fashion bedside manner! My children still ask if there is any way we can get back into the office and have her back! The entire office is wonderful too.

Upon meeting Dr. Sawka, she appeared "not here" and I chalked it up to maybe she's had a long night at the hospital being a doctor and all. She gave us very poor medical advice, in which my daughter ended up being hospitalized 5 days later. My second encounter proved to be the same, in addition to her unprofessionally snide remarks of "when you make a mistake-and you will..." in regards to my daughter's care. Will definitely avoid her in the future and would not recommend her to other parents.
