Laura B. Gaffney's Online Review Report Card

I am taking my mom to Dr. Gaffney and I wish I could switch to her as well unfortunately they do not accept my insurance. Dr. Gaffney always very respectful she listens to our concerns and tries to find the best options for my mom. My mom has cancer and other complex problems that come with it. Dr. Gaffney not only creates individualized plan of care she also helps us to find great specialists for consultations.

Great Doctor and very friendly office personnel....Doctor Gaffney was very informative and thorough. The office staff was efficient and caring....Thank you....

I saw Dr Gaffney at my first regular Dr appt within a year of moving here. I was behind on a few screenings and she quickly but empathetically zeroed in on those as well as a primary need addressing a very confusing situational depression that had set in since a recent heart surgery. While my world was spinning still trying to sort through exactly why I felt so devastated she asked all the right questions made great referrals and helped me truly recover within a month. I will always be grateful for her professionalism knowledge and quick observations to not only heal me but save me months of suffering.

Yes she absolutely addressed My issues that really helped And it was simple and helpful At no cost just something I could do my self

I have no idea where Dr. Gaffney is practicing now but one minute she was working for diagnostic clinic then the next she wasnt then the next I receive a notice that she is back again....then I get a notice that she is leaving yet again. I hope she is finally happy where ever she went because she sure was not happy tending to patients at that facility. Dr. Gaffney was rude and condescending when I went in for appointments and I usually left in tears. I gave her three visits before deciding to find another doctor. My biggest issue was....There was always another person in the exam room on a computer during her exams but not once was I introduced to that person or even told why they were there. It was creepy and totally uncomfortable. Luckily I am healthy and only needed to be seen annually so I put up with her sarcastic attitude and assembly line technique. If I had one word of advice for Dr. Gaffney it would simply be Listen to what your patients are trying to tell you and give them time to speak.

Dr. Gaffney needs to learn how to respect her patients. She talks down to them and has a snarky attitude. If you disagree with her assessments she dismisses you as if you are a delinquent student. She forgets that sometimes patients know their symptoms better than her medical book training. Im not questioning her knowledge but how she applies that knowledge to each patient. Its not a one size fits all situation. She treats her patients as if they are stupid and inconsequential.

I search for a primary dr for a while that I could effectively communicate with. I had no luck for several years until I found Dr. Gaffney. Dr. Gaffney took the time to understand me and my concerns. She also was a blessing with my Mother and called me personally to provide her condolences when my Mother passed. I highly recommend Dr. Gaffney and am grateful to call her my Primary Care Doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Gaffney for 1 year. Before I went to her I had been bleeding as if I was on my period for about 2 years. For almost 8 months and seeing her 6 times each time asking and her saying wait and see I got frantic. I was extremely worried. Finally after months of having my request being ignored she set up a transvaginal scan at the diagnostic clinic she was working at. Apparently they could not even do that much as I was told the scan did not work.. But I got billed for it...

Dont go to her Take time and find a better doctor dont waste your time Shes no way is a doctor She doesnt even deserve a star Doesnt want to listen to the patient I asked some questions regarding my sickness never got a good answer even for one I left the office and still dont know anything about my sickness. I called another doctor office and will be going tomorrow

Wonderful doctor. My kids have seen her for years and she is outstanding.
