Sanjiv Amin's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Amin is not only very bright but he is also a very compassionate human being. I recommend him to anyone needing his specialty. He is also learned in facets of primary care which is very reassuring. Dr. Amin is well thought of in the medical community. He diagnosed me with a somewhat rare disease a few years ago and successfully treated it for which I am forever grateful. I also appreciate that he does not push procedures before they are needed. He has worked with me being a vegetarian without blinking an eye. I very much like him as a human being as well as a physician!

Dr. Amin is a Medicaid provider but refuses to accept Medicaid patients. Puzzling right? Every single other Gastro doctor in my area is doing the same exact thing he is doing. You guys give doctors a bad name. You’re the opposite of what it means to be a doctor. You’re here to help people but instead you’re concerned about how much you’re gonna get paid for your health expertise. You should be concerned about humanity and you should be concerned that are people out there that need you and you’re disservicing humanity by refusing to treat patients because they have a third party insurance provider. And also, it’s against Medicaid policy to be a provider and refuse a patient just because they hold a third party insurance. Just so you know.

Dr. Amin is an amazing clinician. He always takes the time to listen and explain my condition and treatments. His staff is also very helpful and friendly

Dr. Amin has been my gastroenterologist since I moved to Florida in 2009. I think he is one of the best doctors that I have ever had. He is forthcoming with the information about my digestive issues, friendly and sympathetic. I will always go to him.

I was so nervous moving her fro New York looking for a Gastro Doc. I was impressed how he knew my issues while taking the tiMe to listen to my fears and concerns. My case isn’t simple but confident he hears my concerns and will help me find some type of relief. I recommend Dr. Amin as your next doc

Poor. Dr Amin seems pleasant and caring, yes. But he is trained to do that. The truth is he is way overbooked with both patient visits and pricedures and so he botched up the procedure he did on me, causing me permanent and severe problems. If you want proper care, find someone else.

Dr Amin was a major disappointment, regret going to see him and wasting the time and energy. Dr Amin was not familiar about my condition SIBO, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, although advertises online. Gave me cumbersome 2 day test, when I asked him "if I was your family member would you want me to take this test"..... his answer was no, his explanation was that I was enquiring about that test so he prescribed me the test. He also said that even if the test showed motility problems there is no medication for it. Wrong!!!! another doctor later gave me medication for it. Dr Amin's office employees were another problem. They always connected me with a machine and the person called me back 4 to 5 days later with a huge attitude. While I was asking her a question she literally hung up on me in mid sentence. I have never experience this kind of a disaster. Be warned.

Dr Amin, is without a doubt the most knowledgeable gastrologist I have ever been to and I have been to several. Love how he talks to you not at you and always listening. If you really want all your problems resolved you definitely found the right Dr.. very pleasant easy to talk to and really explain what's wrong with you as he encourages this. This way he can get the proper test done without fooling around. He truly is a very caring intelligent gastrologist. I can't say enough about the staff he has. They make you feel so comfortable in a very relaxed atmosphere. I personally can't say a bad word from my experience thus far and I do not see any in the near future. Immediately you know he has your best interest at heart.. if you want your problems resolved this is who you want to make an appointment with immediately. Overall Dr. Amin cares about you and really get to the bottom of your problem and if he cannot solve it he will refer you to someone that will. Great Dr. Eric Romero
